Moved to the area a few years ago, heard great things about the place, was disappointing, young staff spot on the head of restaurant/ bar very matter of fact, not very welcoming every thing seemed a bit of a inconvenience for him, shame really, other places locally more welcoming.
On entering the restaurant we was just pointed to our table by a man possibly the manager saying that one there, we noticed he was doing this to all there customs that walked in the door, not good customer service People should be taken to there table then given there menu not just pointed to it. My family and I had a beautiful roast here today with all the trimmings. Decent portion sizes and good quality meats (Try the blue anchor platter). The staff were attentive, professional and nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to go back. A must visit!
