Lovely place to stop for a drink and a snack or cake. Inside or out nice view.

Another lovely lunch. Ladys are so very helpful. Love the view ?

Unfortunately this great tea room that has some nice views even though set on a camp site, seems to have started to charge car park charges, via app and for an hour seems expensive, so a trip to nearby Heybridge where parking is less fitted the bill.

Lovely Tea room , really loved going here NOW ruined as have to pay an extortionate amount of money to park , very disappointingParking: Just made it really expensive to park very disappointed

Lovely little place. Beautiful views. Have to pay parking now and it's £2.50 for one hour which is steep. Obviously, if you want to stay longer for a meal or walk, it's more than that. Very disputing. Probably won't bother again...Parking: Limited paid parking. Bit of a walk to the tea shop..

I have been coming there for many years with family and friends and it's a lovely place but now you have started to charge for parking, (£4 for two hours) we won't be coming back again and I think, and hope, you will lose a lot of custom because of this. Such a greedy and totally unnecessary thing to do

Good place to watch sea inlet and/or walk the coastal path. Food good, usual Tiptree fare ( scones and jam, cakes, sandwiches, meaty breakfasts). Parking limited in size and a few hundred yards away, close to barriered entrance to holiday park.Dietary restrictions: Does gluten free scones ( frozen; get reheated) which are very good for cream teas.Parking: About 12 or so public parking spaces, to right of barrier of holiday park. Loose gravel, with deep, large puddles in wet weather. No need to try and get through barrier.Wheelchair accessibility: The venue is NOT wheelchair accessible.
We had a great experience with our special tea. This was served in the upstairs room of the cafe where there is an even better view than from downstairs. There was a choice of sandwiches or toastiest, then lovely scones with jam and cream followed by wickedly delicious cakes. It was all served on very attractive plates and came with as much of our choice of tea as we wanted. My friend and I have had teas at several Tiptree Cafes. They have all been good but the venue and the way this was served was the best.
