Best challah and sourdough in London!

Updating this review to say, the rhubarb and custard Danish pastry is incredibly delicious. You have to try it.They might be a bit lacking in the smiles front but their almond croissants are the best. And the chilli sweet potato (or was it squash?) pastry is delicious. And the Geronimo seeded sourdough and sourdough challah.

Next time the customer wants a certain piece of cake let them have it, being told you can only have what’s next is crazy.

I got an almond croissant and a piece of babka. They are absolutely amazing. Perfect texture, crispiness, and moisture in the bread. If I ever come near this area again, I’ll definitely revisit and try more stuff.Sadly, it doesn’t allow laptop use, so I couldn’t sit down and work for a bit.

The quality ingredients used by Margot bakery make their food of the highest quality. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere make this a great place to eat.

I absolutely adore this place. You will not find better sourdough or pastries for miles around. Well worth a short bus ride for a loaf of their bread.

I come here regularly. Pastries, bread and other produce are absolutely delicious, worth the price. If you want take away- perfect. Staff is lovely and polite. Outdoor area (on pavement) is with proper chairs and tables, it’s wonderful in summer or when weather is friendly enough.Downside is that in indoor seating, they have mini chairs, size of them is suitable for children, not adults. Another is that there is no bread slicer to slice the bread one buys from them. Apparently not enough space for it, which personally for me is a massive downside for a place that sells bread.

We have been coming for several times . We love the bakery goods, although the size of the croissants are very different every time . Sometimes much smaller for the price , I consider. Overall the bakery goods are delicious but the customer service is far from a good one. This morning the lady was looking very stressed and rushing although there was no quee . We are going for a coffee to relax ,not feeling in a military environment. We where looking what to choose and we felt very rushed . There is another girl very friendly and kind though. My apologies but customers must be able to have their time to look what to choose at their peace.

Poncy bakery. All bread sourdough. All loaves £5.Probably nice if you can afford it. I just want a plain white loaf that isn't full of preservatives and emulsifiers for under £2.

hot chocolate was horrible, lack of chocolate in hot chocolate, tasted awful.Bakery stuff looked very nice and appealing

I can’t stop buying pastries from this place, they are amazing, this is a tahini and date twist, so nice and so hard to find! Only available on the weekends unfortunately, oddly enough there is a positive to that, as you find different things in the bakery depending on the day.

One of the best bakeries in the Finchley area. They have a broad selection of cakes/pastries, savoury and sweet.I tried the spinach, ricotta, feta and spring onions savoury pastry and the almond pastry from the sweets' range and both were just delicious. The service, though a quick affair, was helpful and pleasant.Since the place offers variety of products ,surely i'll be back to try something else!
