I have been both in the restaurant and have had the curry as a takeaway and it has been yummy every time. I would recommend this restaurant!

Had the mixed balti tonight,i do try differant every week this was the best ive had in at least 5 years,service os always second to none.get yourself down there!.

Recommended by a friend as being really good, so no idea what happened Monday night, prawn on puree was running in oil and neither sweet or tangy. King prawn pathia was fair but a bit salty and over use of chilli powder rather than fresh chilli somewhat spoiled it, mushroom rice again had to much oil, Tarka dall was tasty but again too much salt. Worse of all was next morning when the New Delhi really had its revenge ?. Symptoms would indicate poor personal hygiene by the chef or people prepping.

I took a fried here and unfortunately the food was very poor, the amount of salt used was ridiculous. The following day we both had very bad stomach problems. Would definitely not eat there again.

Really lovely atmosphere, great food and amazing service. Would really recommend the wings, Lamb Korai and Chicken Dansak. Also, obviously, the Naan.

Our first visit for a very long time. Made a phone reservation for 7pm on a Saturday, although on arriving and during the meal the restaurant is so big it was probably unnecessary. The atmosphere was lively but not intrusive. Welcomed by staff at the door and shown a choice of tables. Drinks order taken soon afterwards. Although the drinks are not extensive they cover most types and styles. And, very reasonably priced. The food choices were varied and had good descriptions of what to expect. Mainly Bangladeshi origin, of which I was unfamiliar. However, the waiters came at just the right amount of time and space to take food orders and were extremely polite and attentive. On order of poppadoms and sides were delivered.The meal was delivered in attractive metal pots and bowls and piping hot. Overall the food was good, but found the chicken tikka biryani rice a little oily. But we’ll flavoured. The other dish a Shatkora chicken was a first for me and very tasty. Coupled with pilau mushroom rice was excellent. The onion bhajis were little dry, and potentially twice fried. But overall a great experience. Finished with mint ice cream, coffee and liqueurs.Would definitely recommend despite small shortfalls this time and understand why it gets such good reviews.

I had an amazing 50th Birthday meal at New Delhi on Sunday. The staff are absolutely fantastic and they were very attentive e to myself and my guest. They could not do enough for us. The food was great as was the service. The staff at New Delhi In Grays certainly made my Birthday night perfect.A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL AT NEW DELHI FOR MAKING MY 50Th BIRTHDAY SO SPECIAL. I WOULD GIVE YOU 10 STARS FOR EACH CATERGORY.

Went here last night, food was, as always, superb and service was great. Highly recommend dining here.
No expense was spared on the decor, the atmosphere was just right.The staff were friendly, welcoming and looked after us well.The food was absolutley LUSH and reasonably priced.We got the hot refreshing wipes and even a complimentary brandy to top off an already lovely evening. A perfect experience really.

Honestly was looking for a Indian restaurant to eat in and they welcomed me in and had me seated straight away , service was outstanding and don’t get me started on the food it was the best curry I’ve ever had hence why they’ve won multiple different awards.Just honestly a smacking 10/10Kid-friendliness: The staff make my kids feel welcome and keep them statisfied even though they can be troublesome ,100% a kid friendly place .

Food was exceptional would gladly recommend to all .Dish was Full of chicken not just a few bits swimming in sauce , and the sauce was silky and thick almost like a stew 10/ 10 .

Few days ago I went there with my friends I think this is the best restaurant in grays The Food is very exotic and mouth watery i recommend you try it Tandori chiken and Chicken garlic chilli mossala was best for me. The Service was very good and Environment was great we enjoyed the night very well.
