Popped in with a couple of friends, it wasn't very busy. We ordered food, the prices were about right. The food was pretty tasty, I had the Hunter's chicken, it was served with salad and chips. The burger stack looked good too. Service was good.

Good pub, reasonable prices. I went there to see a band so It was very busy, it took a while to be served, but the staff were friendly.Parking: Quite a big car park, plus on street parking( single yellow line, but restrictions finish at 6pm Saturday. )

Food is ok, landlady is quite miserable and lacks people skills, every time I’ve come up here I’ve found this with her.

Really nice pub, staff are all friendly and helpful. Have had the roast dinner there several times and it really is delicious. Good selection of meats, get plenty of gravy and the roast potatoes are out of this world!

Sorry to say was completely disappointed with the Sunday roast. At a guess I'd say frozen roast potatoes, meat wise no pork ready for a 3 o'clock booking, most of us ordered beef and one beef and chicken. Beef was way over cooked (leather), chicken not too dry but no flavour just a plain chicken thigh, not like a good roast chicken. Very disappointed when you can pay similar money and get a good home cooked roast in other very local pubs. Sorry to say I would never go back and recommend when I love to stay local and support local business.

Very pleasant. Went at midday on a Saturday so it was quite quiet as they had just opened.I ordered the mixed grill, it was pretty decent. Not a massive fan of the chicken wings but the steak, gammon and sausage were good.£2.50 for a tiny pot of peppercorn sauce was a bit excessive, but overall the meal was good value.Nice large beer garden and plenty of seating indoors. Seems like it would be a good place for a Friday or Saturday night drink.

Went for Sunday lunch while down visiting family, awful food, microwaved veg not cooked, teaspoon of mash. Dry chicken and a pork chop that was very greasy, cannot understand why so popular tbh. Definitely will be going elsewhere when visiting again.

Sunday lunch, and it wasn't busy. Food was ok, with a group, some said meat was tough. Roasties looked and tasted like Aunt Bessie's. Presented fine, and service was good, but, it wasn't busy. People were in the garden drinking, and there was plenty of room to sit outside and have a drink after meal. Thanks for response.
