Staff are lovely, food was grim. Burger so over cooked it was crunchy, and so cold the cheese didn’t melt. I left a third of it. When I paid I brought it up, but staff member didn’t seem to understand and just kept thanking me. It was awkward and I cut n run.

Fast and friendly service. Food freshly cooked and served to you hot on a plate with a knife and fork. Staff always friendly to my little boy who loves coming here.

I love wimpy. We grew up in wimpy. Dinner every Saturday before mum took us shopping. I live in South Yorkshire now and can't find one here, so when I visit down south, I have to go there. It has never changed. Love

A very nice and clean wimpy with the older interior style which was a nostalgic throwback.Very friendly staff greeted us and showed us to our table, the food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. Very happy with my experience today at this wimpy. Just a shame there aren’t many of them around the country left.

I bought a packet of small chips I couldn't bear even a single one of it.Its awful! The chips had stale oil smell its not edible at all!

Used to go to the Bethnal Green branch until they closed down.I ordered a chicken filet burger and chips, it wast tasteless and the chips were old, and chicken batter was hard couldn't chew properly.Place was almost empty just one table with customers eating. Should've not gone in, that was the mistake.Looks like a place were all the hillbillies would go and eat, place looks dilapidated.I would never eat there again, feeling sick now!

Loved it , the staff were brilliant, so friendly nothing was too much trouble ,and the food was hot, tasty and just as I rememberd it , haven't had a wimpy for years. Thank you we all will be coming back.Kid-friendliness: Nothing was too much trouble , my grand daughter lost her tooth and they gave us a little bag for it x showed lots of care and attention. Brilliant staff .

Visited Lakeside Wimpy many times, always enjoyable and staff are friendly, and looks after you. Nice and relaxing.Food is nice. The booth seating could do with a refurbish.
