Solid pub with a nice quiet atmosphere (on a saturday evening). Service was good.Beer selection was ok.I didn't book/ use the 'Rooms' available at the back of the pub, which the carpark backs on to.

Tried to order off of the lunch deal, the bull pub had run out of all the ciders listed so tried to charge us full price, to serve it separately. Surely take it off of the menu, or greene king shouldn't advertise it if they can't provide it.

Just had 2 roast beef dinners Sunday lunch probably the worst I've ever had can see why they take your money first would not eat there again if they paid me very very disappointedFood & drinks: Not good roast beef the whole meal nothing but warm tasteless food with fatty beef

Excellent value for money, very nice Roast Turkey on Sunday, after a visit to the snowdrops at Hedingham Castle. Lovely staff.My only negative comment would be that I phoned earlier in the day, asking if I needed to book a table for between 2 and 2.30pm, and was told that it wasn't necessary. Then, when we arrived they originally said they didn't have any spare tables, but then found one, luckily, otherwise, I would have been very annoyed.
