After a few disappointing takeaways, we thought we would give it another shot to dine in.The food and service were great and exceeded expectations.

Tasty food, but bad service throughout. From receiving the worst greating, not being shown to a table, practically be ignored the whole time, only be approached to order and put food on the table. Then having to stand up and ask for any service and the bill, all whilst you are literally the only people in the restaurant was the reason this will be the last ever visit. When you go out eat you pay extra for a dining experience, which this was certainly not. We should have just got takeaway. No wonder it was completely empty. Need to realise a restaurant is the service industry, and how to act towards friendly paying customers even if they are the only ones there.

Shocked to see all the other negative reviews. We visited Dough & Co in Halstead !We were seated straight away, the place was light and airy and very clean with lovely Christmas decorations. Our waitress made sure all the time if we are happy with the quality of the food and everything is alright .Drinks came quickly as did the meals. The food was delicious! We were really impressed with the whole experience and will definitely be visiting again very soon!

As a local couple with expendable cash for a night out our last experience here was awful. We were excited about a night out, and we ordered a bottle of wine straight away. We were treated abysmally by a dark haired woman with tattoos, who thought she would hurry us out at 9:50 by just presenting us with the bill, not giving us a chance for a dessert or coffee, or to even offer up the voucher we had from a previous time we chanced this place, and they totally forgot to bring our desserts wed ordered. We would have had plenty of time if it hadn't taken over 40 minutes to bring us 2 pizzas!! We were the only people in there! I did speak out to her at the time, and she just stood there, and kept repeating that "the oven was turned off" Not good enough! Ive never had that treatment in a restaurant in my life, time was a place would stay open and let people finish, or at least communicate in a timely, and kind fashion to give us a chance to finish our meal nicely. Its not a surprise the place is empty, and such a shame, as it has such potential. Its operating on a shoestring, but is charging well above its paygrade. You used to be able to get nice cocktails here when they 1st opened, they all come from tins now, adding to this places soulless atmosphere and attitude. Pizzas were nice, but overshadowed by the treatment. Dont bother ordering the Bruschetta its now been demoted to 2 very small pieces of very dry pizza crust accompanied by a dozen small tomatoes cut in half, and a sprig of greenery not impressed at all, and wont ever return.

We visited Dough & Co for the first time & we were very impressed with the food. Our kids who're fussy eaters demolished their food. The kids meal options was great & much better than the usual chain restaurants where it's very basic! Here they had generous portions & best of all you could choose an adult option as a kids portion ?For adults we had the couples meal with one pizza & pasta + side + glasses of wine which was great. The food was delicious ? & totally worth it!The desert was great too. The kids had ice cream as part of their meal options & we had a tiramisu which was finished in a matter of seconds!!The lady who served us was very friendly too. We're definitely coming back & we would recommend this lovely place to everyone!!!

Would not order from here again. First time, the food took 90 minutes to come despite advising within an hour.Second order, the food didn’t even arrive. After chasing it and being lied to that it was ‘on the way’, I requested a refund. According to them it had to be an email to head office. This was months ago and still no refund, no response to emails.Absolute joke of a place.

Ordered for a family for an evening treat to make our evening more relaxing. Over 2 hours later it arrives. Everyone starving, kids don’t start eating until well after their bedtime. Good food, overall bad experience.

We chose this place as it was the only pizza spot in the area, we were also told by the venue that they’d delivered a tonne of a pizzas there a few weeks back so were confident they’d be able to find the place. We were staying a fair bit away (15 mins), and called up to ask if they’d deliver and approx how long it would take, the guy we spoke to said, they did and it would be with us within an hour.We spent over £40 on a deal of 2 pizzas, 2 dips, a side and a bottle of wine (which was called a Girls Night in). We placed the order online as we didn’t have cash at 19:00 the order was confirmed. When you check out it notes that you’ll receive a text when the order is on its way to you.At around 20:00, our food still hadn’t arrived and we had no text, so my partner walked out in the rain to check and see if they’d parked up and got lost. I then proceeded to call them 5-6 times and it went straight to voicemail. At 20:45, one hour and 45 mins after we placed our order it arrived, lukewarm and congealed. You’d imagine after that wait we’d be ravenous - you’re correct, we ripped into the boxes, mine was meant to have extra mozzarella (see photo), which definitely wasn’t. And it was revolting. Like wet cardboard, no flavour, zero. These people are an absolute joke, do not give them your money.

Beautiful food, served hot, garlic bread, pepperoni pizza, pasta the white oneBruschetta, olives, service exceptional and very friendly, went Saturday and was quiet, but plenty of orders out for delivery

Solid Pizzas, the staff very friendly and attentiveonly issue is there is no air conditioning and its like a sauna in the restauranthard to rate the atmosphere as there was only the staff in the venue but overall good value for money
