Bar • “Popped into the Herald today for the first time in years, would just like to say what a lovely pub, lovely environment great service, good selection of drinks, brilliant advertising of upcoming events.Petrula and mike are doing a fabulous job well done to both of you I’m so happy I popped in and will certainly be back again soon ?”
Bar • “Took nan out for some lunch.Very well run pub with some nice food.Always happy to change things on the menu to ensure everyone is happy with the meal.Parking: Good sized carpark and well kept garden.”
Bar • “Went after Christmas for a child's Birthday, disappointed the play room was not available as this was one of the reasons for booking.Lovely location by the river, would imagine it will be really busy in warmer months.The day we went the place was really quiet.Food was pub food ,nice but nothing special. Service was good.I would go again when warmer I think it would be nice sitting outside watching the world go by .”

Bar • “Visited on Wednesday, had to book and Harlow Mill was busy, never effected the quality of the food or service. Jo served us and she was excellent. Had the evening special menu of starter / main or dessert for £15.99. Chicken and ribs, nice. Give it a try. You need to resister your car at the door, and have 3 hours. “Our first ever visit. Been driving past for years and finally we went in. It was very busy but we still easily got a parking. Inside it took a few minutes to be seated for our reservation. Our Server, Jason, was fantastic. Really helpful and easy to talk to.The food wasn’t the best we’ve ever had but it was very well worth the money spent. It arrived quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. Really enjoyed a relaxing evening in a good atmosphere. It wasn’t too noisy and Jason was there every time we needed anything. He even somehow broke the mold of disappearing just after dessert when you want the bill. He was right there. Even really helpful with suggestions to suit our diet. Good value and good food. We will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Options for gluten intolerance especially in desserts was really good. Although it would be useful to have that on the menu.”
