Went in yesterday ordered the meal deal 3 pieces of sf chicken with free chips I wanted 2 of the same deal so 6 pieces of chicken 2 free chipsOrder taken all goodGot home had 5 pieces of sf chicken 2 of which were legsSurely if there wasn't enough chicken I should have been told I paid for 6 piecesLove this chippy normally 100% satisfied chips are stunning

The time that I have been waiting. I could have driven to the coast and court a fish driven home and cook it . Instead of watching the fish I had ordered be cooked and placed in the cabinet then into delivery bags. Placed order at 17.20 didn't get the order till 17.45. I did ask twice how long it was going to be to be told that it will be coming soon. PS the fish wasn't that great

Used to be our " go to" chippy, recently not so good, portion sizes have shrunk, prices have increased (expected in credit crunch) but quality has dropped also....

I rated 5 star before this has been my favourite since i was a kid but ive just grabbed a battered sausage and chips a d paid just under 7 quid .. and the standard is gone! food was disgusting chips look dirty, batter is gross and barly cooked and its a shame as ive come for over 20 years !

Walked in here as it is my local Fish and Chip shop wanting to have some fish and chips tonight, but after 5 - 10 minutes of all 3 visible members of staff acting like they couldn't see me (the only member of the public stood inside wanting to order) I walked out. Other people outside arriving at the collection point during this time were however being acknowledged, so either it is not possible to order inside, or the staff are just plain rude.

23rd October 2023.My partner asked for LG portion of chips. I live very close to this chip shop. The large portion of chips priced at £4.45 was the same size as a small portion at £3.75.The food is overpriced and the waiting is long from what I saw as the staff lacking in many ways of customer service....This so called large portion was not enough to feed two grown adults.Overall experience, very dissatisfied. Should report to trading standards. This is robbery to the people on low incomes.........

I ordered 3 southern fried chicken and chips meal deal which comes with chips and a drink, didn't get a drink. I also specifically asked for a thigh piece but didn't get this either.Ordered royal chicken burger it states onion rings, so I enquired with the staff if it was a portion of onion rings that come with the burger to which they replied yes! I also ordered a large portion of chips but received a regular portion of chips.

Very average fish and chips at an expensive price and a queue to go with it, if you can get an offer then it's worth it but it definitely is not worth it at full price, £14 for fish and chips is a rip off. Would taste the same elsewhere and would probably be cheaper too!
