Gastropubs • “Went after Christmas for a child's Birthday, disappointed the play room was not available as this was one of the reasons for booking.Lovely location by the river, would imagine it will be really busy in warmer months.The day we went the place was really quiet.Food was pub food ,nice but nothing special. Service was good.I would go again when warmer I think it would be nice sitting outside watching the world go by .”

“Very poor Sunday lunch. The chef doesn't know how to cook a Yorkshire pudding. It looked like a flat pancake and should never have been served up like that. The dinner certainly didn't look like a traditional Sunday roast. We shall not return.”
