Smallest double room I have ever stayed in, this was our second stay at this hotel and our room was not this small. Some stains on walls and headboard, room was very dusty in parts they miss like table lamps,There is no aircon which we were aware off but could not get a room anywhere else, this made this small room very stuffy.

Stayed here for 2 nights with work. Normally stay in premier inn’s with work and generally find them faultless. however there were a couple of things at the hotel, which are more specific to the room than the hotel in general. I found my room, had a bit of a musty smell. In addition to this, the room was on the small side and on the hottest night of the year, with no air con as is with most premier inn’s, it made for a restless night. Tower fan was provided in the room, but made little difference . The access panel under the sink in the bathroom fell off at 4am on the first night waking me up. It’s clear the hotel has gone under refurbishment recently and other than the damp smell in my room, the rest of the hotel was spotless. Typical Hypnos bed with good quality linen and some nice purple lighting in the headboard The on-site beefeater restaurant is good quality and the staff are very friendly. Nice surroundings outside, yet it does get busy quickly. I’d definitely return here, on a cooler evening

Stayed for one night - poilte staff on the desk. Hotel is a little dated and the room had no air con so was extremely warm. Also the door had a gap in the bottom letting a small amount of light in at night

I stayed here for work. While i understand the hotel doesn't allow smoking in its rooms, i totally disagree with them allowing customers to smoke and chat until late at night outside other staying (non smoking) customers rooms. The wifi was appalling too, I couldn't log on to anything in the evening. On a good note, the restaurant was great, it had some lovely choices.

2 nights spend in comfortable room. Sadly with no air conditioning the room was very hot due to heat wave. Last night of our stay room was at 26.5°C. The restaurant next door very good with excellent staff.

Very clean & comfortable, surprisingly quiet. Nice welcome & friendly service. Plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast.

Disabled parking right out the front of the hotel. Disabled rooms are on the ground floor 6/7 and a small flight of stairs away at the very back of the hotel! Who would think to do this? Furthest point from reception and restaurant! Does not make sense!

I had accidentally booked for a week ahead. The lady at the reception was very helpful and found me a room nevertheless. This being with the hotel being fully booked. It took some time but she was trying to find a solution.

Room was a standard Premier room no aircon window over car park, many work vans in car park started leaving at 5.30 am so woke up early to noise. Carpets looked very dirty No USB ports at side of beds. Check in easy staff polite.

Stayed for 2 nights at Premier Inn, room was clean, good size, comfortable beds, clean towels, facilities to make hot drinks, on site parking - everything you need for a good stress free stay. I feel reception team should acknowledge people walking in and perhaps smile to make them feel welcome. For me this was the only bit missing but overall everything else was great and I shall return without hesitation.

Check in process was a breeze and the evening desk clerk was helpful and knows her stuff. Parking was tight unless you went around to the back. Large comfortable rooms with breakfast and evening meals at the beefeater just 50m away.

Staff were fantastic can't fault any of them for their commitment to their customers! Rooms are looking dated now and are in need of a refurbishment. The location is set in very picturesque surroundings but just a tad to far to walk to local shopping.

Stayed for one night to be closer to an early flight at Standsted. Check in was ok - Claire was very lovely and friendly but her computer was very slow so took a while. The room whilst ok was really dirty. Thick dust and dirt around all of the room, stained headboard, marks on the doors. Good shower and bath and quiet location. Overall ok for the price but would of expected the room to at least be clean from thick dust and marks which easily rubbed off also lots of hairs in bath.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Gave traffic directions to avoid local roadworks. The rom was very clean and a good size. Was pleased with the late check out time. Very pleasant breakfast with a good range of options.
