Ordered pie and chips here last night and when I got home they was cold not very enjoyable at all so ended up in the bin after wasting £11.70 at a chip shop just round the corner......

Called in here on a Bank Holiday Monday , looked busy so thought it would be good food. Cod and chips absolutely tasteless and greasy only managed a few chips. Dogs enjoyed the fish though.

A very unassuming place but believe me very worth the drive and small wait. The food was freshly made and was absolutely superb. Chips were perfectly cooked as was the pie and the fish. Not greasy and had great flavour. I would happily return and buy here again if I'm passing. Good job team.

Very good,best haddock and chips and delicious pukka pies. Very polite and friendly staff , fish was massive and very meaty, chips cooked Very well and good quality. Highly recommended place.

Soggy chips with oily and bland battered fish. So much grease it soaked through the paper and a folded hand towel and still left residue on the table. Couldn’t finish it, only had 3 bites of fish and a dozen or so chips. The battered sausage was passable, but only just. Would probably be great after a night on the beers at the pub next door, but not when you’re sober. Service was great and the food was prepared quickly. Judging from the amount of good reviews they might have just had an off day.
