Visited for the first time today. Absolutely lovely cafe, very friendly and helpful staff, great choice of food on the menu. Really enjoyed my jacket potato with coronation chicken. I shall definitely go back.

Excellent food, great service. Nice calming decor, looked fresh and tidy .Dietary restrictions: The only alternative options on menu were vegetarian dishes - no allergen info readily available, however I asked for dairy free alternative for the butter with my toast and they were able/happy to accommodate me

If you’re in Dovercourt visit the Rainbow cafe the food is excellent. You have to book and can reserve a table, although maybe disappointed if you don’t get the table you reserved, but please don’t complain. If you see a member of staff wiping your coffee cup rim with a dishcloth please don’t complain and if you hear said member of staff complaining about you loudly, please don’t complain you may get the owner of said cafe advising you you always complain, otherwise enjoy

Lovely cafe just opposite the beach front. Dog friendly. Lovely decor and great outside seating area where some tables were undercover. Very clean. The menu was good. The food was delicious too! And sausages for the pooch :)
We took our dog as it said dogs we aloud in amenities.Dogs were only aloud out side and it was a cold and wet day we had to put the dog in the car.

Delicious food and nice service. We had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and shared a teapot.The menu had a great range and all the options were very affordable.Service was quite quick and very friendly.Friends took us and we'd definitely go again.
