Had a weekend stay at this hotel. It was really lovely, the room was nice does need touching up in places other than that it was clean, fresh and bed was comfy. Breakfast was very tasty and went down well each morning. Had dinner in the restaurant and the scallops were amazing! Food was so tasty and presented perfectly, service was attentive. I feel the need to mention Emma such a lovely lady really makes you feel really welcome and goes out of her way to make your stay special!Thank you for a lovely weekend.

The food was very nice we had the christmas menuHowever the portion size for £32 was very poor one slice of turkey one pig in blanket one very very small square of stuffingDessert I have never had such a small portion of ice cream it could have fitted into a thimble very poor I went home hungry I was thinking must be a food shortage in the kitchen

From the restaurant to the room the decor is fantastic and the staff helpful and friendly. Only thing to better it would be a sea view. That aside, it's damn near perfect.
Just back from a dine and stay night at le bouchon.Excellent food and service in a cosy, quirky atmosphere with a nice ambience.Shower over bath nice and powerful but head kept sliding down the pole so could do with updating.Great service from the lovely American lady at breakfast.Luxurious bedlinen.Will definitely be back.

We booked Afternoon Tea at Le Bouchon for a friend's birthday, but we were rather disappointed. In my opinion the restaurant was too busy, with tables very close to each other. It was also extremely hot in there. The food arrived nicely presented and the sandwiches were really fresh and tasty, but I wasn't keen on the sweet items. The chocolate muffin was incredibly dry and all 6 of us didn't eat them. When the waitress collected our plates I told her that none of could eat the muffins as they were so dry but she wasn't interested. The scones were fresh from the oven which was nice but they had a strange taste that was rather bitter. We ate them but one was enough. All in all not as good as we'd expected for the money.

Only one of the improvement that I could request hotel is to have more aircon rooms and explicitly mention that it is available on request. I went during the heat waves time and it was a bit inconvenient. Rest all are awesome :) Thanks again for the whole staff who tried their best.Nearby activities: One can definitely enjoy the nearby places, food .. especially the 1 day or hourly boat trip packages.Safety: Friendly staff,Food & drinks: Their tea collection was awesome
