One star is actually one star more than they deserve.The warning signs were there when we arrived at peak time on a Friday and there was one other couple sat down and 30 empty ones.Where do I start?The food was honestly like it was microwaved meals, I had a carbonara which was edible but my fiancé had lasagne that actually looked worse than the ones they used to cook at school. The waitress was actually friendly but in an overly friendly way that it was just really awkward - also invited her friends in who were drunk, loud and trashy - and between the staff nothing was said or done. Honestly as bad as the drunk friends coming in was, it was the memorable part of the night and definitely more memorable than the food.It actually felt like we was in a prank TV show at times and I was waiting for the reveal. AWFUL

One of the worst places we have been. Food tasted frozen. We were the only table and the waitress brought her friends in who were berating us while we were trying to enjoy a meal with friends. They begin playing loud music, shouting, trying to speak to us saying it’s just “banter”. We felt extremely uncomfortable. Food was awful.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a very nice experience. Food and drink were very good. Staff were very professional and friendly and the decor was very modern and fresh and they very nice atmosphere .I would definitely return to this restaurant. I highly recommend

Lovely restaurant, Staff were super friendly and attentive, Great menu choice. We had Pizza, pasta and risotto and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I would totally recommend!

Very disappointing. First time here and won’t be going back again. We thought we were in an Indian restaurant. Food was an insult to Italian restaurants.
We love it here. Everyone’s friendly and looks after every table brilliantly. Lovely food, fair prices. In a great location.

After walking a stage of the Essex Way we were grateful it was only a short walk to Cucina Italiana. Our delightful waitress looked after us so well. The pasta was fresh with delicious sauces and we could relax and take our time to savour the meal washed down with a decent red. Light, bright decor with charming views of the local village church. It really was a 'godsend' ... as the local pub doesn't serve food, no chef see !
