Hubby and I have not been here for a long time. At least 2 years. We were greeted with a hand shake and welcome back. So nice not to be forgotten. The reason for this is, we did belong to Pure Spirit, spiritual centre on a Tuesday after our leading lady Hilda Yeates passed away it closed down. So we didn't go to stanford le hope much. That's the reason.

Use Monty’s a lot eat in at least couple times a month tonight i ordered a take away and he told me the price which was 34 pound for one rice curry and a starter which didn’t seem right then I said no thanks ordered from another curry house it was 18.50
Nice meal, good quality and nice thick sauces. Friendly staff. Portions are a good size, and nan breads light and crispy.

Thought I'd try a new takeaway. Chose Monty's - who didn't deliver to where I live in Basildon - and had reasonably high expectations (given that they had apparently been short listed for some regional award). However, in all honesty, I was disappointed. The madras lacked spiciness and the rest of the order was pretty bland too. Sorry, Monty's. I was really hoping to find a new regular takeaway but, alas, it won't be you.

Really great food. Most definitely the best curry house around corringham and stanford. Would recommend the chef/montys speciality dishes.Staff are always incredibly friendly and make the effort to know your name and wait on you top star.Restaurant is only small so would recommend booking a table.
