worst indian food I have ever had - nothing had any flavour to it - the house white (the only white on the menu) was shocking!!! couldn’t drink it - they wasn’t bothered when we told them! Tamarind duck for starter was the 4 smallest pieces of rubbery duck! so bad! we ordered aloo peas as a side dish and it was awful - like school dinner - absolutely no india spices in it! Nice decor awful

An expensive (take away) disappointment.Having dined in the restaurant and enjoyed what was an expensive but highly enjoyable meal we had high hopes for a take away.We ordered almost exactly what we’d had in the restaurant. We waited an hour and it came exactly when they said it would.That is unfortunately where the good story ends. Everything was luke warm, ultra sweet and had virtually no taste compared with eating in the restaurant. The Dansak for instance was very hot (spicy) in the restaurant but virtually like a different coloured Korma today. It was honestly like ordering from a different place. Good job we had the restaurant experience first instead of the take away. Very disappointed, maybe they just had an off night. Shame.We’ll stick to dining in the restaurant for future. The service in there is great, the place is spotless clean and the decoration is lovely, it’s a great place to be.

Interior decoration is fine,but service is awful.Cobra should be served cold,but we have been served luke warm Cobras.Service is awfully slow.Food portions are very small but as expensive as the westend of London prices...Our waiter was upset because we have not ordered starters..KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE...

Only used for takeaway so far lived im the area for a few years now I've gotta say this blows all the other indian restaurants out of the water. Every dish is individually spiced you can really tell the chefs here take care when making a dish. Can't praise the food here enough personally

Best Indian around to eat in. We have always used panahar. We have trued other takeaways/restaurants in the area but they do not offer the sane food and service. I would personally say eating in is better then their takeaway just because eating it fresh really does make a difference. Outstanding service. Great look on the refurb

although i haven`t been there for a while, i used to be a regular, and from what i remember about going there, there very friendly and helpful, and the foods out of this world for taste and quality, you can get a not very nice chinese and its usually expensive for what it is, but i`ve never had a bad meal or bad experience from this truly wonderful indian, you don`t usually have to wait too long for you food, and even if only getting a biryani its really tasty and you can just about manage to eat it all, there coconut delight ice cream is divine, and there lobster currys are really worth going there just for them, and sometimes they used to give me a free drink while waiting, and give me extra food in my takeaway bad, and spend the time to talk to me, if i`ve got any complaints it`s that there food is really too nice, and you just can`t get enough of it, i usually got something mild, but the one time when i did make a mistake and get a madras, although as you can expect it was a bit hot, and i was not used to these level of heat, it was probably the nicest curry i`ve ever had there, i really can`t fault them, on there excellent food, and incredible service.

Food is excellent the chefs here know what they're doing every dish is spiced lovely .This will definitely be my regular from now onLittle tip call restaurant directly if you order takeaway uber eats very unreliable

Interior is lovely, all looks newly decorated and very modern. We went on a Saturday night, service was painfully slow. Waited over an hour for our starter. Made the mistake of ordering the house white wine - don't bother. It tastes of chemicals. My wife's main course was fairly pleasant but mine was tasteless, despite the owner recommending it to me as it was medium to hot. They got the side orders wrong as well. Had to try and order a glass of water 4 times before it finally arrived. Overall very disappointed and we won't be going back.

Place has been redone and refined.Food is delicious. Staff is courteous.Their pricing for in dining, takeaway or collection is a bit questionable at times.Just decided to go for a in restaurant dine in after months of trying the takeaway option.One word : disappointingThe regular staff who take the orders were not present.One of the servers was a proper grumpy old sod. It was like he was unhappy we were there. Never met him before btw. Spoke down to us.Starters came in after 30 min and cold.Main course arrived 45 min after that.The food : the veg dishes were non spicy but the non veg ones brought tears to our eyes.. Even After telling him we didn't want our dishes spicy.Funny enough when we order takeaway the dishes are never spicy.Portion size: the takeaway portion is so much more than the dine in for a third of the price.Discretion : the food was so spicy but we didn't want to waste it so we asked nicely if could be packed to takeaway. The server got containers and mixed 6 dishes in 3 containers right on the table.We still tipped them at the end for the hardwork.
