Got stuck in Stanford due to trains popped in to have a drink whilst we waited in what looked like the main bar area that was a typical old pub. it was very quiet. No body came to serve us for about 10 minutes so we left.

The beer is good, thats the first point. Lovely area for kids to play in and the pirate ship is brilliant for them. However and this is a big one for me, the last 2 times we have been there, we have been unable it sit in the bar due to the overbearing smell. Unfortunately the smell is like a gone off disinfectant. It is a shame as we would have stayed longer.

The New Courthouse /Taksim Square Turkish Restaurant has closed and is now trading as 80 Days a Tapas Restaurant I hope that 80 Days is successful as Stanford le hope is in need of places to eat

Five Stars. âââââ We visited The New Courthouse last night with friends and we already can't wait to return. The renovations to the decor and the menu have transformed the restaurant. We received a warm welcome from the staff and were seated straight away. Everything about our visit was wonderful. The Georgian wine, food and flavours were all exquisite. You really must try it. I had mushrooms in a cheese and tomato sauce for starters, the lamb for main and a liqueur coffee to finish. All were delicious. Thank you to Lia and her team. We honestly wish you success and all the very best.
