We love Black & Gold Cafe in Bishops Cleeve. Our recent visit was made so much better by Chloe who made the children feel so welcome and looked after! So we came back and Martina was lovely. Food good, but service needs a little work - was stood at the counter for a good five minutes waiting to order the first time. (Should have taken the hint when they skipped past me and my friend to serve someone else who'd just arrived) Did eventually get a very tasty panini and an ok coffee tho. Went up again to get one of the excellent looking tiffins, but gave up after being ignored by all three staff for another extended period.

We visited as a treat for our son's 7th Birthday. The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to make my son feel special. Great service, great waffles and great coffee. Worth the drive every time, but wish you were closer!

Truly awful service, and nothing like the one in Cheltenham. Dismissive, ignorant staff. Whilst the coffee and cake was up to the standard I expect of Black Gold, my (simple) order took a long, long time to arrive. I certainly will not be going back to this branch.
