Awful!!! Visited today. Served by children. No table clean.. not one, I had to ask the children to clear somewhere for me to sit. Asked them if there was anyone in charge they replied the adults are upstairs!!! Asked for a bacon roll with well done bacon, it came underdone. Half way through my roll I noticed the bread was moldy ? told the children who said “sorry” that was that!! Will never visit again and based on my visit will recommend people steer clear unfortunately.

A charming cafe with friendly staff, a cosy atmosphere, and great coffee. The Eggs Benedict is delicious.

The portion sizes were questionable, 4 baby plum tomatoes on my plate but full portion on my boyfriends and a tablespoon of beans on his but full portion on mine. My Water glass was dirty, the bottle of coke was warm, the cappuccino wasn’t hot. It took over half a hour for our food to arrive and it wasn’t even that busy. The place was filthy. The kitchen was an absolute disaster. The seating areas were a mess. I pointed out a particular eye sore to the owner/manager when we walked in, he commented that it was his son but when we left 45 minutes later it was still there not cleaned up. The sofa in the corner upstairs looked absolutely disgusting. The seating was a mosh mash of all types and didn’t work well together at all. I used to come here years ago but it has since been taken over like other places in the area and unfortunately the current owners have not been able to keep up the same level of service and quality the original owners did. Won’t be visiting again.

I would like to update this review about this fantastic coffee shop. Ali and her staff always go above and beyond. I love to pop in for a coffee and a sandwich or whatever takes my eye. Their food is very good and yummy and lot of choice. Excellent value and cooked to perfection and well presented. Also I have bought a few cupcakes freshly made and which my friends children have devoured. I love to support local businessesHighly recommend this place

Popped in for some lunch. I had a full breakfast and a lemonade. Absolutely fantastic location and staff.

Went for lunch with a friend and we were quite underwhelmed and disappointed with the food. I’m a very keen supporter of independent businesses, but for £8.90 with a coffee, the ham sandwich and salad was very expensive considering the amount and quality of food. The ham sandwich was simply bread and ham, the crisps appeared to be a packet split between me and my friend, and overall the food wasn’t anything more than could be expected from a supermarket.

Stopped by on a lovely sunny Saturday morning for brunch. After checking inside, I found I could have avocado on toast (not on the menu board).Delicious fresh ingredients, served beautifully by friendly staff. My hubby had a very tasty bacon & sausage bap.Accompanied by great coffee and their signature chocolate drop/button placed on the teaspoon. We love this place ?

Came to this lovely little cafe for the first and was greeted by the staff with excellent service. Had 2 latte’s and a fruit scone with butter, jam and clotted cream. It was delicious. I will be back again and have something else from the menu. Thank you.Well recommended

We always get a warm welcome at Lowrys. There are lots of options on the menu, but the mocha / hot chocolates are amazing!

Just supplied some new greetings cards and had the best flat white I've had for ages. Thank you Alison and the team.

I had a lovely afternoon lockdown birthday tea delivered yesterday by Ali and it was very fresh and yummy. I had a choice of four fillings for sandwiches but there was plenty of choice on the menu I was sent via Facebook messenger. Choice of either plain fruit or cheese scones jam and cream butter and a huge slice of cake I chose Victoria sandwich but plenty of other choice. I also asked for a birthday cupcake. It was delivered to my house with social distancing and safely . We both wore masks . It was £10 per person plus £4 for the card . Lovely cafe I use with takeaway coffee and hot chocolate and cakes and sandwiches. Lovely warm friendly staff good atmosphere
