The food was not edible roast potatoes had been there so long they had fused together brussels and carrots so under cooked could not be cut parsnips were soggy and the whole meal luke warm was trying it out to book christmas day but would not waste my money on sub standard meal . This is a plastic pub, a new build adjacent to a Premier Inn. It is fine in providing food for the adjacent inn and meals for the local business park employees, but it isn't a proper pub. I've eaten here several times and the food has always been nice, the service is OK, but the atmosphere is lacking. It's all OK, but nothing special. Try the newly refurbished Victoria pub just a few hundred yards away instead.

Had a team lunch for 8 people. Good quick and honest food with nice and friendly staff. All the food we had was hot freshly prepared and good quality. Reasonable prices too.

I’m still sat here now after my breakfast and wanted to write a review. The staff are the most friendly bunch of people, we spoke with Sadie & Lil, both moving around efficiently whilst still speaking and having a laugh with customers! The breakfast was all so fresh we will definitely be back!

Had another lovey meal last night at the whittle inn for our sons birthday its our local and we regularly love to pop in for dinner or breakfast. last night the food was on point and staff were lovely as usual was so nice that the staff gave our boy some chocolates for his birthday was completely unexpected and made him feel very special big thank you to everyone

Lovely, affordable food -One thing I'd like I say however is how lovely the staff were, very kind/inviting with my 11 month old - saying hi, waving, talking to him.I'd like to praise (I think his name was) Keiran - going above and beyond for an older gentleman who came to dine alone, made sure he was okay, had a little chat with him and helped him with his food!Such lovely staff at this pub!

Had a great experience, booked a table for 14, had to pre-order which was a simple process. All orders were correct and tasted good. The duty manager and young waitress who looked after us were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and had a really good rapour with the whole group. As I live the other side of Gloucester there are places we could choose closer to home but we always get great service, food is always good so will continue to visit. My only regret is I didn't take the names of who served us, Who ever was on duty Wednesday @6pm, thank you. Look forward to our next visit

Hadn’t been to the Whittle for dinner for a while, but decided to take some friends, who were visiting Gloucester …. pleased I did….Good food. Great service, from Claire, Lil, Sophie, Laura & Josh - Nothing too much trouble. Very enjoyable evening…Thanks Guys……Will be back very soon!!

Quiet today went early. The food was fresh, hot, and yummy, really good service from all the hard-working staff. Well done ! ? It is good to be able to get Bounus Card points ( claimed a free bottle of wine on this visit ) and then got to use my Defence Discount Card for a reduction in the food.Vegetarian options: On the menu.Parking: 3 hours free but you have to log your registration.Wheelchair accessibility: Good accessDietary restrictions: They always ask when ordering if there are any restrictions.

Went out for a quick week night dinner and had a really lovely meal. Food was great but the stand out to us was the fantastic service from our waiter Jamie. Very friendly and polite, nothing too much trouble and he had a lovely manner. Thank you for an enjoyable and relaxed meal ?

A last minute stop after being let down by a local restaurant and the team not only squeezed us in but gave us amazing service, my daughters have special needs and were made very welcome. The food was fantastic and good value. Thank you to Kieran, Kaitlynne, Claire and Toby for a great visit, we will be back.

The staff were fantastic Kieran Jess Sophie and Kaitlynne went in for a roast dinner all the food was delicious and cooked perfect the mash was smooth and so was the swede meat was perfect and all the veg was full of flavour and went away stuffed
