This is an amazing pub. The landlady is so welcoming as are all the locals that drink here.They have a lovely log burner so it's a great place to stop for a drink after a walk.For any aircraft fans they have loads of memorabilia on the walls relating to the aircraft that have visited Fairford over the years.I thoroughly recommend this as a place to have a drink and catch up with friends or to meet new people.

Having spent a morning at the Garden Centre near Fairford we decided to treat ourselves to a spot of lunch. What a great discovery. We dined from the starter menu so much choice and perfect sized portions. Definitely coming back for dinner next time the menu is a delight and the service and timing impeccable

Such a lovely little family run country pub. Visited alot when in the area. The pub refurb is spot on but still not taking away from the fact its a country pub. Land lady extremely welcoming. Well kept beer. Will.most definitely be back when visiting again.

I feel i have to defend the previous review as i know this pub was closed . Stopped in for drink , lovely and welcoming, friendly staff and well kept beer , keep it up great job

The only positive thing to be said about this place is that it may increase sobriety as anyone visiting may well conclude that pubs are not for them. Poorly kept beer, tired decor, abysmal service and Arkles beer. Not a winning combination! There are better places to drink.
Go to RIAT air show every year go in all pubs in Fairford and the plough has gone down hill but i believe it's still same landlord maybe he has lost interest???
