Went a few weekends back for a meal, food was delicious and so was the pints of madri, however my partner asked for a flat white and she was given a straight black coffee with milk! But other than that was good.

Such a friendly welcome, service excellent. They were really busy, but we were still given appropriate attention. Main meal was delicious, but we were disappointed with dessert. We had the sharing Eton Mess, which was okay but really overpriced for what we got. The girls serving us were lovely, working really hard. Would recommend for dinner, pricey but very nice place.

A really great place for a meal with family and or friends. The interior of the pub has a lovely decor, very traditional and even had hops clipped to the ceiling which was quite a nice touch. Great range of beers and ciders available. They even had Blood Orange Thatchers on draught which was not something I have seen before. The food is great quality, decent portion sizes and a special shoutout to the pie! It really was delicious along with the chips.Staff all very friendly too and happy to help. It was my father in laws 60th birthday and they were more than happy to accommodate sorting out the cake we brought with us and served it with candles and all sang happy birthday which was a nice touch.Quite a small car park though considering how busy it is, but they do have EV chargers which was great!Overall, a great experience and can’t complain about a thing. Will definitely be back if we are in the area.

Fantastic food, lovely cosy place and good service. Unfortunately we were too full to try the desserts but they looked delicious!

The team at The Farmers Boy are fantastic, really welcoming and hospitable. The menu has some good gluten free options outside of the usual which is nice to see. The food overall is great, as is the atmosphere so it's well worth a visit!

It's been a few years since we visited last, and today we returned and were very disappointed,we were there for over two and a half hours just for two courses, and that they got wrong not once but twice, and then on paying by card the card machine ran out of paper and not one member of staff could find another roll of paper, after 10 mins of waiting a member of staff decided to ask for my details incase the payment didn't go through, but it had gone through, won't be visiting again

Look no further if you want a comforting and quality pie; some might say the best in Gloucestershire.Available in different sizes, these pies are made to order. As soon as you cut into them the filling leaves no doubt only the best local ingredients are used.I have mine with the mushy peas (they add more and they're perfect). The Farmers Boy has been a longtime favorite, not just for its cosy atmosphere but because the experience is reliably comforting and the quality is always consistently good.Perfect for catching up with friends over lunch or dinner.

Experience around one week before Christmas 23.After seeing the many positive reviews and wanting to experience this place for awhile, I was really disappointed with the Christmas fayre meal. The staff and service was perfect. The patè starter was amazing, but the Norfolk bronze turkey dinner was, let's say worse than hospital food. The turkey seemed to be processed slices (3 slices perfectly round and stuck together) The roast potatoes must have been warmed up from the previous day and although I like my veg slightly on the firm side, the carrots and sprouts were close to raw. The best part of the meal was the Yorkshire pudding and that was a Morrisons freezer one or the same as. I don't expect food to be piping hot but mine was uncomfortably luke warm. Our other guests were not too excited about their food either. Sadly it's put me off going again.
