Terrible customer service, went in to buy some chocolate when the shop wasn't very busy and once at the check out I was treated with cold and rude customer service

Good little store inside the Mall on the upper level.\\nStaff are always welcoming and friendly.\\nOccasionally have some chocolates at 50% off and 70% off.\\nStore is small but there is a large range of products on sale.\\nIt's clean and bright.

Horrible company. Lost my first Velevetiser order so a replacement was sent out. When I got back from one weeks holiday, one velvetiser arrived. Due to the disgusting treatment I decided to return it, to be told at Cabot Circus I could not. I then spent 20+ minutes on the phone to Hotel Chocolat who asked me for every detail as this shouldn’t have happened. To then be told that I was unable to return my order as apparently two had arrived (not to my address).I have received several horrible emails from customer service with Jade being the most recent. I returned my order today at Cribbs to be told I would be refunded, to then be emailed by Jade saying no refund is due as it’s the original order?????so I am £144 out of pocket and am in the process of taking this to the courts due to them scamming me - AVOID!!! Money grabbers.

Bought a selection of chocolates, 3 for a tenner not a bad deal...lemon cheesecakes were absolutely stunning! Not massively keen on other chocolates we bought compared to High Street standard though considering the extra cost but shop was busy so I assume quite a few people like their products.
