“had a lovely meal here tonight the food was delicious and the young lady serving was delightful .unfortunately it was a roasting hot day and we were seated right by the carvery it was overly hot goodness knows how the chef on the pass was feeling. the only other thing I'd note was that they didn't ask about allergies and I ordered the chicken strips starter and was asked bbq or hot sauce I ordered the hot sauce and it had Stilton in it I'm allergic to cheese and another person in my party can't eat cranberries due to medication. it was In the Eton mess nobody told us. other than that a really lovely place and a lovely atmosphere it's wonderful that it's dog friendly and they have some lovely views with a river too”

British • “Fabulous meal, got exactly what we asked for. Good solid excellent filling meal at a reasonable price, fabulous service from Louise, Sarah and team. Well worth a visit. Shame about the feral child but beyond their control”
British • “We visited on a relatively quiet Wednesday afternoon in the Easter holidays, arriving shortly before 4pm.
Pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't particularly busy, plenty of tables, all of which were clean and tidy and free from dead plates and cups/mugs, which is my pet hate.
3 hot drinks, decaf cappuccino and two hot chocolates, plus a fruit cake (lovely and moist chocked full of fruit and cherries), scone and a piece of coffee cake (very rich and creamie); just over £23.
The service was good. Staff cleaning the tables, as we approached closing time at 5pm.
Light, bright and airy with comfortable chairs.
