Fantastic food, went for Sunday lunch with my daughter. Best food I have ever tasted, well presented, lovely staff, could not do enough for us, did not need to ask for more water, they kept topping it up. Can’t wait to go again, I would recommend to everyone.

Popped in for a pot of tea on a Saturday lunchtime part way through a 10 mile walk. Excellent service from the staff. Menu looked really good, interesting dishes, as did the food that passed me. Clearly a popular place to eat. There was plenty of room in the bar area. Music was quiet and unobtrusive. Definitely would return and maybe for food in the future. There is a large car park to the side of the pub with views of the village church.Vegetarian options: Veggie options on the menu

Excellent food and great service. Can get very noisy in the bar area such that it's advisable to book after 7.30, by which time the noisy drinkers have gone home for dinner. They seem to shout over each other. The barn at the back is far quieter and a lovely, contemporary oak construction.
