Oh wow... think they emptied the sugar bowl into the Lemon Chicken almost inedible! The Pineapple fritter was fine, nice sharpness to it but the chicken.... yuck

Absolutely awful food!! Chinese takeaway. We had ordered several different dishes all of them disgusting! Upon leaving the establishment I also realised they only had a three for food hygiene. Children taking orders with no manners. Very disappointing, will never visit again.

Drove 20mins as this is the closest fish & chips, Sign on window says open until 8.30 but arrived just before 8 to find it closed. They were cleaning inside and seen I was outside but didn’t even acknowledge I was there. I have spoken to a few people in the area and apparently its common for them to close early

By far the worst food I’ve ever seen, ordered chicken fried rice but received special fried rice and I’m allergic to sea food. Beef curry turned to congealed jelly similar to dog food as soon as put on the plate and when I called to complain I got shouted at by the manager telling me I was wrong! On top of this I waited 40 mins after pick up time because the food wasn’t ready. Be advised stay away!

We've had a take away from here about 20 times and 90% of the time its brilliant. Weve experienced a few times where its more oily then others or over cooked, however majority of the time it's great. Don't order the fish & chips (unless you get salt & chillie chips) from here as it specialises in Chinese and Oldfields is opposite.

First went here for fish and chips and it was amazing. Chips were the best I've had in ages and the curry sauce was immense.Went back again for Chinese and it was even better ?

Went there today around 17:45 and had two lots of fishcake and chips. Fishcakes were ok but the chips had a horrible taste like the oil they were cooked in was contaminated with something. My partner had the same as me and thought the same regarding the chips. I wont be visiting again. Very disappointed:-(
Their chips are the best I've had in years. Have had their food numerous times now and never been disappointed.Really enjoy the chicken chow mein as well!
