Very disappointed with the welcome we received on arrival. My colleague and I visited with our Client who is a wheelchair user. The pub was quite busy but another customer pointed out a free table (28). The tables are quite close together and we asked one (yes, just one) customer if they would mind moving their chair to enable us the get the wheelchair through. They were more than happy to do so and we reached the table. A lady, cleaning tables, then rushed over and told us we should have pushed the wheelchair to the bar and around the other side and not asked people to move!! My colleague and I were both upset by this. We work with adults with learning disabilities and find most people to be kind and accommodating when we visit restaurants, cafes etc. This experience left us feeling saddened. When we finished our meals we had to move tables in order to get out via the route the woman had suggested. We won't be returning!Wheelchair accessibility: Very disappointed with the welcome we received on arrival. My colleague and I visited with our Client who is a wheelchair user.
