“Modern pub rece t renovation of an old pub, nice room , great windows and light, cricket on the tele. Eye-watering prices for drinks but I guess that's London for you. Friendly staff , good range of booze . Wonderful location.”

“We booked here for our annual Christmas lunch. We'd pre-ordered our three courses, plus drinks on arrival. When we arrived, our table was ready, the food came quickly and Jose & Kieran took good care of us. The food was tasty - the pate was really nice. The pork belly was good too and the profiteroles were great with the salted caramel inside. The place was very busy with other Christmas parties, plus those just in a for a drink but everything went well. The only thing was that we were right by the door, so it was a little cold at times, but nothing major. We'd definitely consider coming back.”

“The Temple Cheese burger was awesome, 10 out of 10! The Chik'n sandwich (I forget the exact name) was decent, the fries were good....the milkshake (I think it was strawberry flavor, can't recall) was not good. The wife thought it tasted like cough syrup, I thought it tasted chemically/artificial. They also lost a star because we went in when it was quiet, and placed our order...then 15 minutes later a large group came in and started ordering, and they got some of their food before we did. A bit chaotic and disorganized. I wish we lived near there though, if so, I would eat there every week! The U.S. needs a Temple of Seitan!!”

“Quite a spacious spoons in a convenient location next to Highbury and Islington station and I was surprised at the fast service despite it being quite busy. There is also a small outdoor seating area and an upstairs. Overall would recommend.”

“I had the Rainbow Salad here and it was absolutely outstanding! Every bite was bursting with freshness, colour, and flavour — perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. You can tell the ingredients were top quality and prepared with care. The textures, the seasoning, and the vibrant mix of veggies made it a joy to eat from start to finish. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. I can’t recommend this enough — I’ll definitely be coming back!”
