Had smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. My gripe why do they make it look like your getting a generous amount of smoked salmon to discover that it just a smidgen and its all a cheat...hey were not that stupid.....won't buy again.

While it is not my favourite grocery shop in the area, there are few things I really value about Budgens. You can find some delicacies that are not available in other stores (Italian and Spanish mostly), they store a lot of Biona Canned organic food and they have a great choice of wine and beers.

Tasty sushi, nice chap on the door.Not sure why the people behind the tills are completely non-responsive to all communication though.Words like "hello" and "thank you" were met with blank stares.A single smile or nod would go leaps and bounds.I was just under the impression that short pleasantries between customer & staff would keep a pleasant energy and encourage you to come back again.Especially if you are elderly and don't often have people to interact with on a regular basis.

Convenient store on the Highbury side of Upper Street. The post office inside is quite useful. Good selection of food and drinks.

Very organized place with good variety of products.
My last 2 orders were missing pasta I called store was told to go there and pick up seriously after I have paid for deli delivery today I have ordered pasta again and added on delivery notes please can I receive my pasta today hey guess what 3rd time unlucky no pasta will never order from this store again 6 pesto pasta paid for and not delivery disgusting ripping people off I will go in store to complain when I am passing how is this store allowing these wicked people to work there and steal food from customers when I do visit the store I will be telling other customers to be careful of being robbed by the deli counter staff

Just had food rescanned by a member of staff when it had been scanned already! Racial profiling unfortunately. Why would I steal from your store? No reasons offered by the person doing this. Irritated!

Good local style supermarket. A bit dull in lighting and often shelves being stacked at busy times which makes shopping difficult.Variety of fresh products and store goods.
