I was on my way to the British Museum when I saw the Hotel Chocolat and couldn't pass the opportunity to stop in. I love chocolate so obviously I had to get dessert. I got the Ice Cream of the Gods in a tub (cup) and it was good, not too sweet and creamy. The staff was polite and efficient. Next time I'll try a sundae.

This company has fraudulently taken money out of.my account. I bought a box of chocolates on Sunday and Monday the money came out again. I have. Been into two stores-sent emails to a range of departments and they will not refund my money. Will not be shopping here ever again .Make sure you check receipt and items before leaving the store

Great chocolate like all hotel chocolat stores, though the selection is a bit limited with the small store.The issue however is one of the staff who was incredibly rude and condescending in how he spoke to me.The other staff member there was lovely and polite, however her coworkers behaviour really ruined things.

Excellent shop though smaller than their shop in Soho. I love their collection. Be aware that some chocolates have alcohol in them.

Had been wanting to try the Hotel Chocolat cafe for ages now, and on a rainy Devon day decided to go and have a try. Me and @donnellyben ordered 2 drinks to share and we got the ‘Vanilla white chocolate shake’ and the ‘Milky velvetised hot chocolate’. Both were topped with Hotel Chocolat chocolate cream. The vanilla white chocolate shake was sweet and refreshing and a nice consistency; not too thick or thin. Neither flavours were too overpowering, however I think normal cream would have paired better with this. The hot chocolate on the other hand was perfectly combined with a rich chocolate flavour of the drink, with a lighter chocolate in the cream, and the velvetised style made it even smoother and creamier than normal. This definitely convinced me to get a velvetiser. As you can imagine with both of these drinks they got quite rich after a while, however the portion size given was enough for what we got. Pricing was a little expensive, but that is expected from a deluxe chocolate shop. Overall review: Date visited- 15th January 2023 Drinks- 8/10 Service- 9/10 Price- £££ Recommend to a friend? Yes✅

After a long journey to London, on a hot day - my sister and I fancied an iced coffee before we carried on to the underground. I ordered their advertised iced latte with coconut and caramel, but just with oat milk rather than dairy milk. The server was busy, but it was very fast service. So when we took our drinks and walked off - on tasting them as we got to the underground, I realised the coconut and caramel iced latte I ordered, had no coconut or caramel in it! So a hefty £4.15 price tag for a simple iced coffee. Service really wasn’t great. I understand it’s a busy place, but it’s not an excuse to forget small details.

We were served by a guy and he was anything but nice, not rude but not nice and that didn’t help with our experience. I've just bought next day delivery and it was not honoured. Thanks for that Hotel Chocolat, you've just lost my future custom. Very disappointing and not helpful customer relations either, basically just denying any responsibility. Avoid

Our “Bean to bar” experience was excellent ! The staff - in particular Marina and Tash- really know how to make you feel welcomed , taken care of and excited about chocolate . Highly recommend you book your experience with them . Great team effort, lots of shared knowledge and delicious chocolate made by you!

I had the classic iced shake i didnt taste the chocolate so its best to go for milky or dark. Cocoa whip was nice a generous portion
