Never have an issue with this place when ordering through an app, but visiting is often unpleasant. Most of the staff are lovely, but the young lad with the brown hair and goatee who frequently works here is rude on a consistent basis. Even when you're the only person in line he seems incredibly impatient, to the point where neither my partner nor I feel welcome to purchase more than a coffee (as whenever I order a cake or a croissant he seems annoyed - shoving them in a bag and dropping them on the counter in front of us like we're wasting his time). He doesn't answer to niceties, and once you've paid he immediately turns to the person behind you and asks them what they're having - rinse and repeat. He seems to slap on the charm when older women come in, however, and will pet name and converse with them openly. This unfortunately creates a further disparity and makes this particular Nero an immensely uninviting store to visit in person. I never enjoyed working customer service either, but the least you could do is "you're welcome" when someone thanks you, instead of blanking them.Shame as Nero's always been our favourite.

The customer service in this particular Neros is absolutely amazing. The guy with ponytail and the lady with the blonde hair (also in a ponytail) are ace ♠️. They are friendly, chatty, hard working and make great tasting drinks ☕.Five stars ????? from me ?

Good service and friendly staff. Only concern is cleaning and allowing dogs inside; today I saw one jump up with paws on the table. Having seen how the tables are cleaned (or rather lack or proper table cleaning) this is quite unsanitary. On cleaning the table I sat at on another occasion it was filthy (see images of the brown residue on the wipes). I tried another table and it was the same. Please improve your cleaning! Very off putting and I will not be frequenting this cafe.

Decent coffee. Friendly staff. Premises little run down if I'm honest.

I was quite disappointed, having previously always enjoyed my visits to branches of Caffe Nero. This branch seemed uncared for and somewhat resembled a run down bar.

There’s just something about this particular Caffè Nero. The staff are always very nice, the coffee is consistently good, the pastries are done as they should, and the music/atmosphere is tranquil. Best place for coffee on Beckenham High Street hands down.

There are plenty of chain coffee shops in Beckenham. There is something nicer about the atmosphere here than the others. Good strong coffee and excellent service

Nice Nero 's. Quite spacious inside. Even when populated it's nice and quiet.
