I went there as a halal eater and ordered a prawn linguine. The waiter could not speak English and brought me meatballs in pasta. I told him he then proceeded to argue with me loudly. I was forced to just pay up and leave.Dietary restrictions: No clear halal meals

This place is amazing. We are here weekly for brunch and come often for dinner too. Fardeen is especially excellent, he always ready to make our experience extra special with a smile, jokes, and extra touches. We are extra happy every time we’re served by him as he is by far the most attentive waiter. We love this place. Family friendly, you can sit outside with the dogs, and in the centre of Beckenham. It’s great to come drink coffee by yourself too, just sit at the window and chill. We need more places like Deli Nene in Beckenham. It’s unpretentious, delicious, and suits every occasion. Thanks to all the staff who make coming here every time so special.
Unfortunately I loved your brunch but didn't enjoy the dinner meal was very dry lamb and chicken fillet was tough to eat sorry but was disappointed with that ,otherwise brunch is always been

I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times before and had an enjoyable time. I wanted to book a dinner for a birthday celebration, 2 of the party are vegetarians. After looking at the menu outside the venue I decided that it offered the most options for us. There was a whole section on the menu dedicated to vegetarians/vegans, which is the norm nowadays. However, when we received our menu at the table, this section of the menu was missing completely. We asked if it was on a different page but was advised that all options were on the menu we had in front of us. That comprised of either a halloumi/falafel burger or a haluomi stew ? or a salad(probably halloumi!! A halloumi burger was ordered and we were told it wasn’t available! We had a discussion whether to up and leave but we thought that we probably wouldn’t get a table for 7 elsewhere at short notice. I asked if another option could be sourced from their sister restaurant and this was the solution in the end. I must say that in this day and age where so many people are vegetarians, it’s so outdated and disappointing not to have several interesting options on the menu.
