Ordered a pancake with lemon and sugar, the simplest thing to make and it tasted awful. And to top it, it came on a plastic plate with a plastic tray as if it was prison food. Even though the place was empty they still didn’t even bother to bring it to the table with was a 5 second walk. This pancake cost me £5.50 and wasn’t worth even 50p. Wish I just went to McDonald’s and got a McFlurry for £1.99 instead. Really disappointed.

Ok. Nothing special. Premium prices for cakes but not even basic customer service like service with a smile, greeting customers when they arrive, saying goodbye to them when they leave or serving the cakes on plates...waiters not even able to take your order at your table which is just lazy given that they werent busy...might as well buy tastier cakes from M&S and get more for your money. Milkshakes overpriced even the small sized ones....layout of place could also be improved. The saving grace for this place is that there arent that many dessert places in the vicinity therefore not much competition.

Fabulous customer service sooooo good...sooo friendly people...from the attendant opening the door for us from the ear-to-smile and suuuper duper table service to the exquisite cutlery and presentation of desserts we were simply blown away by the service. It was though we had been transported back in time to the Mughal Dynasty and were being treated as royalty. The desserts are a bit on the pricey but who cares you only love once...truly the benchmark for what good customer service should look like....

Portion of apple and crumble custard are extremely small and a quite disappointing. Came here a few years ago and they were definitely bigger.

We are visiting on holiday and staying locally. Wife wanted a jacket potato and stumbled on this establishment. She also had hot cookie.I wasn't going to have anything until she told me they do a lotus cheesecake. I was not disappointed, and didn't get chance to take a photo, the term I destroyed was said lol. I did think £6 was maybe a bit over priced. But that could be due to the fact we have traveled from louth in Lincolnshire. It was throughly enjoyed and I'd be Happy to recommend this establishment for cheesecake. My wife enjoyed her jacket potato and hot cookie and said would have it again

Wow six pounds for smallest amount of cheesecake ever ordered online. I under that things have gone up but, I'm gonna stop spending my money at these places.

Expensive but really worth the odd treat, their banana, strawberry, & nutella waffle is amazing! Some real good ice creams too

Very disappointed with this order, not only did me and my partner have to wait over an hour for our order, when it arrived I actually could believe that I just just payed £9 for some cookie that was barely 1cm thick and the ice-cream wasn't even a mouth full and had basically melted, will not order from here again it's ridiculous

Me and my friend went to this place to order a cheesecake/ cake. My friend is lactose intolerant so she asked if they had any lactose free or vegan cheesecakes. They didn't so they said they had a vegan fudge cake instead. She said yes this is OK can I please get it. They left us standing there looking like we don't know where we are for at least 10 minutes. We didn't know if she should ask again (even though she had already ordered) or if they were making it (even though they said they had it)We were left confused so we left and went somewhere else.Poor staff and unhelpful

have used love a slice beckenham a few times now and most times must say service is lacking. Especially my most recent visit, waffles are usually always cold, cheesecakes are ridiculously overpriced and if you order online it doesn’t even alert you to let you know your order is ready. Tried contacting the restaurant and could not get through. Definitely not worth the money.

Came here for a meal and sat upstairs. Decor is cute, very clean and comfortable. Quick and efficient service, waiting staff are very friendly. Food was good and fairly priced. Will definitely be back!

I went to the Love A Slice Lounge upstairs for a meal. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good, the cocktails were great. And as you'd expect, dessert was superb!Highly recommended.
