You will have to wait a while as its a 1 man show with uncle bill, but the flavours and taste are proper home cook style. To many carribean places try to get away with some sub standard rubbish but uncle bill always top quality authentic flavours. Best oxtail and rice and peas around

Terrible food, the curry goat was very dry? And the rice and peas I don’t know what that was, but it wasn’t rice and peas also the man who served me attempted to take money for large food but knowingly gave me a small. And when it was rectified again he didn’t put my salad in the bag . Trying to take peoples money and give them small food when they asked for large on PURPOSE wouldn’t recommend

I would not eat any other Caribbean food in that area except for Bill's. The food is soooo good, proper homely authentic Caribbean food. I don't even live in the area anymore but always still drive into the area to get some!Jerk chicken is always delicious as well as the oxtail (which I honestly don't just eat at every Caribbean takeaway)!Would definately recommend!! Looking forward to my next visit ?

I live 15 minutes away from the restaurant. They took an hour to get here with the wrong food, and burnt plantain which was cold. plus i called as soon as i placed the order. There was no point! you feel upset eating it because theres no wow factor. Eventually they got the order right but waited 1hr30mins.

Totally addicted. Hearty, well seasoned, top-quality food *chef's kiss*. Everything single thing is delicious. A real gem of Catford. You won't be disappointed.

This spot gives first-rate service and delightful meals. The best place around town. The food arrived quick and the rates were fair. I recommend this place.

This is by no means a posh upper-class place. In fact, it is very casual. But the food is superb. Before finding it, I had never eaten Jamaican or Caribbean food, except for trying Jerk Chicken once. So I went in. And have done so on a few occasions now. The owner, Bill, is a wonderful man and very helpful if you can't decide what to have. He has daily specials which change, as well as the normal cuisine from the Caribbean. The food is always fresh. I even found ox-tail - delicious!! Prices are extremely good, too.

This was my first ever experience of Jamaican cooking. I was familiar with some of the better known dishes, like Jerk Chicken, but had no idea of other dishes and therefore did not know what I was missing out on. The choices are extensive, ranging from rice dishes, to fish, spicy chicken, curries, oxtail and many others. The place is nothing to look at, but don't judge a book by it's cover. It's very casual and extremely popular with the locals. The food and dishes I ordered were delicious and lip-smacking good. The owner and chef, Bill, is friendly and happy to advise you if you cannot make your mind up or are new to this form of cuisine. Will I return? You bet! I'm also fortunate in that I have just moved in to the neighbourhood and it is close to me.

I dunno about the Thai food but for the Caribbean food everything tasted wrong- my family ordered 4 different meals and nobody enjoyed it. Plus the dumpling tasted way off! If you want nice Caribbean food go elsewhere!!

Just ordered on Uber Eats, curry mutton rice and peas. Well curry mutton taste of pepper and curry powder the powder it self and also rum cake. was given the edge of the cake I thought a slice is where you cut from the middle to the edge of the cake or if it’s cook in a loaf tin I would at least expect the actual cake and not the end of the cake it also tasted just of rum I’m better of buying a glass of rum because that’s what it tasted of, what happened? Missing mix spice vanilla essence, lemon etc. Terrible never-again bills was good many years ago but now not the same

The tastiest Jamaican food I have had in a very long time. I would recommend the oxtail and rice and peas. The sweet and sour salmon is great too!
