“Went to Bill's for brunch with a few friends and had a pleasant experience. I was able to set up a reservation the night before and they were easily able to accommodate us. The location is nice, right next to Borough Market which I love so it's easy to find. The food was pretty standard. For me the bacon was too greasy so I didn't eat all of it but that comes with the territory sometimes. My friends all enjoyed their meal so I can see myself coming back here if I'm in the area again.”

“On vacation in London with my husband and 4 boys and we wanted something everyone would like for breakfast and this place hit the spot. The full English breakfast was delicious, the waffles were perfect so tasty. The pancakes were a little dense for me but my 13 year old liked them.”

“I really like this place. It's modern, lots of space between tables, good loos and I'm a fan of their chips. However today was a bit disappointing because of the volume of the music. It was a bit too 'clubby' for me and too loud. It was lunchtime and my friend and I wanted to talk. However, the music was so loud with a thud thud beat that after our meal we gave up and went somewhere else for coffee.
I can understand why this might be fun in the evening - although still not for me - but at lunch on Mother's Day when quite a few of the customers were older it was all a bit much. I'm really not into yelling over it.
Was the volume to amuse the staff or for the customers? I did wonder who it was for.”

“I recently visited Southwark Tavern and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout our meal.
The menu offered a great variety of options, and everything we ordered was delicious. The highlight for me was the beautifully cooked fish and chips—crispy batter and perfectly flaky fish. The selection of craft beers was also impressive, complementing our meal perfectly.
The pub's charming decor adds to its character, and it’s a great place for both casual dining and special occasions. Overall, Southwark Tavern exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!”

“Modern, high ceilinged pub favouring food (which I did not try). Had Five Points Best Bitter on cask which was superb and the staff were very friendly.”

“Brilliant pub with even better service. Everyone behind the bar is great, and the quiz on a Monday at 19:30 is absolutely brilliant!”
