Hotel Chocolat do the best fruity chocolates. Strawberry cheesecake, lemon cheesecake, passion fruit, raspberry panna cotta are my current favourites. They do great selection boxes to suit all tastes and I like gifting these to friends and family.

Bad service from the cashier guy, annoying face, didn’t feel like answering any questions, didn’t feel like serving, wasn’t a welcoming attitude overall.\\nI was standing next to the other counter, he put the order on the front counter (which was very crowded) and called my order number. I was standing next to him and answered, but there were no sign or eye contact from him whatsoever. I saw my order on the front counter and asked about it. Nothing. I just had to fight my way through the crowd and take my order. Such is the life of a badly-served customer.\\n\\nAnyway, hot chocolate was ok, perhaps only marginally better than the one you get from those vending machines. I’m not the kind of guy who would let bias control the rating of my review. I would’ve given them 3 or even 4 stars for the mediocre hot chocolate, but the service sucked, so 2-stars sounds like the perfect rating for them.\\n\\nJust so you know, Hotel Chocolat itself makes good chocolate. It is just that my experience at this branch was bad.

We called in here last November- left standing for at least 10 minutes before I had to remind them of our order, young fella too busy trying to chat up customer and at least 3 other customers served before I had to ask about my order not sure why I couldn't be seen- couldn't of had right look for your clientele! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! not even a apologie

Standard fare from Hotel Chocolat but the staff that day, Daniela, was awesome! Super helpful and friendly. Thanks :)

World Ahoy!

A sign said to go upstairs for breakfast, but the staff there sent us back down and removed the sign afterwards. We only could choose between some sweet pastries and the interestingly tasty hot chocolates, which were very good at least. The cafè itself looked really comfy and there was a big souvenir corner with lots of different chocolates. I'd say its good for the hot chocolate but I would suggest to eat on Borough Market on the other side of the street if its open.

Impossible to find it was called hotel chocolate when we booked. No mention of this name. That said the food was good.

Wonderful staff! Of course the chocs are totally divine (in fact I try not to visit so much for that very reason 🐷) but I wanted to thank a lovely assistant named Gemma who utterly charmed my kids so much that they still talk about a special train visit to the "chocolate shop lady". So kind!
