Food was average. Pork was dry. Service was rubbish. Waitress spilt gravy down my friend’s back. The starters and mains arrived at the same time (our fault, apparently, because we ordered using the QR code on the table which we only did after we gave up waiting for someone to actually come and take our order). Noisy. Not pleasant. Try elsewhere.

The Roebuck is a beautiful escape from Bermondsey Street. A true local, no lines, such a relaxing place. Bar staff had the best reggae/ska playlist on, thank you! I ordered the pork chop, it truly was a fantastic meal, just so tasteful. Kudos to the chef! I can't say enough about The Roebuck. Go.

Nice atmosphere and decent outdoor space. If you're looking for somewhere with lots of space to move around on a busy night, this probably isn't the right place, but the upstairs venue looks great!
