Complete waste of money! I would never ever recommend Base Camp lounge & restaurant at Bexleyheath. We ordered 2 items on a Friday night and the food was horrible. One item didn’t have any salt in it. The other item tasted awful and Garlic Naam was so hard that it killed the entire mood of a Friday evening. Total money wasted! I wish I would have ordered the food from somewhere else. If I was the manager, I would have fired the chef in the first place.Parking: Restaurant is on the main road where you wouldn’t find any parking whatsoever.

If you want traditional food bursting with flavour then Basecamp is a must. This is the second time we have eaten here and both times didn't disappoint. It's a shame it's not more busy during the week because it's such a hidden gem in Bexleyheath. The food is rich and spicy but so different from the local Indian restaurants that tends to be the 'go to'. Portion sizes are great too with so much choice and cocktails/wine top notch.

Having ordered numerous times, saw that the quality and taste of food has over time fallen down. Daal makhani that used to be buttery, creamy and tasty is now only a box of oil and plenty of color. Remarkable difference all for worse. Prawn curry also not better. What a fall from what they started.

Such a bad behaviour of staff. I often order food from this restaurant. The quality of food is not too bad. I order food from uber eats and its come out good. But today I called to the restaurant to collect my order by person, but they don't understand what I want to order or they just pretend they don't understand. After i have repeated my order for couple of times I asked how much I will have to pay, they say £45. In online, it was showing £29. I said to them that in uber eats, it is showing £29, how come it will be £45. They then said in uber eats they are giving discount. But after discount it will be £24. I was telling them the price before discount which is £29. But they don't want to understand, they just keep saying i have to pay £45. Anyways, I gave up and tell them that I am going to order through uber eats. Then I ordered and my husband went to pick up the order. When he entered to the restaurant, one of their staff said to him that you are not supposed to come through this way. Go to the back, she behaved so rudely. My husband was getting so angry. Because he was going for the first time to collect the order and was surprised how they behaved to the customer. They can say politely that he needs to go to the back to pick up the order rather than misbehaving. Very rude and manner less staff. Will never order again.

We went tonight for the first time. Wow - wonderful tasty food, very well presented. The menu is very different to your average curry house - authentic Nepalese menu. Added bonus is 2 for 1 cocktails! Great service, lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will be back 10/10.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, polite and attentive.The food was incredible! And so filling, but the flavours!! OMG absolutely delicious! We even had a chat with the chef after - thoroughly recommend.Oh and the cocktails were 241 - so we had a few of those - the salted caramel espresso was a favourite!
