We had starters that were cold. Very long wait for mains which were also cold which we sent back. One of our party used the disabled toilet. She said bin was overflowing with used nappies.

As a group of 15 people wanting to eat together on Good Friday, we booked a table through the website. As a restaurant, they cant afford to commit to feeding 15 people who don't show up, so they asked for a deposit of £10 per person. So we book, a deposit is paid and a contract is implicit. On the night, it became apparent that whatever is in place to let the restaurant know about bookings did not work and they were not prepared for us. They didn't have a table for us, the staff in place to serve us, nor the foreknowledge of what we wanted. Whatever they did to try and make that right was very badly managed. That restaurant is a premium pub and we expected high quality food to be served well and together. They appeared to have decided to feed the walk ins first and prioritise those, either because we had already prepaid, so they had some of their money or because they could cope with that, and better to make some happy than none. For us, a night we had planned for months was ruined. The kids were bitterly disappointed, we missed our Birthday girl for most of the evening, and we had to have desert somewhere else! Her birthday was ruined. That is entirely down to their mismanagement, we did exactly what we were contracted to do, they did not. So, for those reasons, I strongly feel a refund is in order and they need to sort their booking systems out. We will see what they think!

In the land of Google numbers, we set our scene,Booked with hope, for a dining dream serene.£10 per person, deposit placed with care,Pre-orders given, all seemed fair.Arriving with anticipation, excitement in our eyes,But soon encountered an unexpected surprise.Tables separated, though promised otherwise,Yet the staff, with kindness, aimed to revise.Starters trickled out, a delay in their flight,Some lost in transit, causing a plight.Inquiries met with promises, then a frown,As missing lemons and missteps weighed us down.Children's meals arrived, not quite as planned,Gravy missing, burgers overly manned.Requests for corrections, met with delay,A sauce-covered burger, not the child's way.Mains lagged behind, a tardy parade,Cold and undercooked, a disappointing charade.Manager's excuses, a waiter's demeanor,Leaving us discontent, our patience leaner.Disputes over payment, a bitter end in sight,£90 demanded, a troubling height.Refusing to pay for what was amiss,A stand against the neglect, a righteous kiss.Threats of bans and name-calling in the air,Yet we departed, refusing to despair.Leaving behind a tale of woe and wist,A night at Danson Stables, sorely missed.

Shockingly bad. Food cold and late, staff unapologetic, bar service slow. Shambolic is the word. Avoid!

A bit tired place and very filthy, unfortunately. Sticky tables, dirty menu, prices are okish, food is average.

I'm maybe a little tight, but when you pay £11.50 for a lager and a bottle of coke and the card machine asks for a gratuity that does take the peewee.

Food absolute disgusting £500 for a meal we barely ate, food had clearly been reheated and was vile. Staff had no idea what they were doing 99% off the time.

The flat white coffee was just hot milk. The lasagna was mushy and burnt to the bowl. The salad nonexistent. The 6 of us won’t be
