“Lovely local spot to have a few pints of ale/cider, contributing to independent/smaller brewers. Nice to have the rear beer garden added since some earlier visits 3-4 years ago, too. Great prices and friendly staff.”

“Esther, Pete and all the staff at Jolly Millers were a dream! We definitely chose the right venue for our relaxed fiesta themed wedding party. We had a wedding party of 52 people and the garden and gazebo set up here was absolutely perfect. There was space to set up the tables, cater a full BBQ and space to dance the night away. Esther and Pete were so accommodating and open to our plans. They allowed us have exclusive use of the pub for 4 hours and even after this all of the locals respected our space, although by the end of the night the whole pub was dancing together and joining in ? everyone keeps saying to us what a great pub it was, how friendly the staff were and how reasonable the prices were. In this day and age that says a lot. We will continue to visit Jolly Millers as one of our locals and wouldn't hesitate to use them for any event big/small again. Thanks so much (newlyweds Mr and Mrs Monasterio ❤️?)”

“It would be better if there was no fights and people know the candy dance in stead of getting in the way”

“Unfortunately my battered prawns were a little overcooked however my sons burger and my aunts bangers and mash were spot on.A new waitress on duty had her work cut out due to it the pub being busy, she did a wonderful job, keeping her cool and smiling throughout.Bartenders were also really helpful and friendly. We always enjoy our visits to the Haig.Vegetarian options: My daughter is vegetarian and always enjoys her meal, which they have a good variety to choose from.Wheelchair accessibility: Good access for wheelchair users”

“This is a pleasant little local pub that my wife and I like to call in on occasion when we are in bexleyheath. We usually stop in for a few hours of an afternoon when in town and always find it decent and welcoming with affordable prices too. Obviously a watering hole for the residents nearby (as most drinkers seem to know each other) but everyone minds their own business and allow you to go about yours unhindered. It also has a nice beer garden that we sat in and enjoyed. Down to earth efficient polite barstaff who pour a good pint, this for us is a great little 'stop off' that breaks our journey home and we have no cause of complaint so far.”

“This pub is up for sale by Wetherspoons, so probably won't be around for much longer. Saturday lunchtimes, which is when I sometimes come in is quiet. It always seems like just a few regulars hanging on. I'm sure their food portions are getting smaller as well.”
