Dried orange slices for G and T. Didn't see any soft drinks for drivers.

I went for the Xmas Quiz and the atmosphere was relaxed and a lot of fun. Good selection of non alcoholic drinks.

Great keg and cask beers of different styles. Does have cider, wine and spirits. Relaxed atmosphere and children welcome.Kid-friendliness: An assortment of board games available to all.

Great little micro pub. You can sit and drink quietly, or easily enter in to conversation with people. Always made to feel welcome.

Good selection of beers and close to the station. Atmosphere a little sterile for me as it was a quiet day.

Always liked this micro pub as a stop off when returning from a journey. A great selection of beers and ciders.Sadly marred on our last visit as a dog took priority over paying customers when we asked if we could we have the seat it was sitting on and told "no"! Apparently the seat was being saved by the dog for someone that never appeared in the 2 hours we were there!
Very nice beer and a comfortable setting. Recommend a visit

Just wanted to update on my old review. As always a great selection of cask, keg and ciders plus the more exotic cans and bottles in the fridge. From IPAs to sours and stouts, the Belle has it all. They do have a wide selection of gins and mixers too so if that's your bag you'll be satisfied with what they've got.

Really disappointed. We've been coming here since it opened. On Friday evening, after buying our pints, we realised there was a dog on a seat, with it's mouth over the table. After telling the bar staff one of us was asthmatic and had been hospitalised by dog induced asthma attacks, we had to down our pints outside on the pavement in the cold. We saw the same staff member inside in the warmth, and they were petting the dog.Very unhygienic, and not really sensible allowing dogs (except guide dogs) into pubs, especially, when they're busy. Dogs get excited, and if you allow one, you could get several. Which is very disruptive.Sad being asthmatic and dog sensitive, yet another pub we're now excuded from. Because dogs take priority, even though they don't buy anything. Dog owners often blame other people, when it's them inflicting their dogs on others in confined spaces.

Been here multiple times over recent years, including recently with our 1yr old. Kid & Dog friendly (bear in mind, it's a quaint space - so not suited for loose kids/pets, also the noise bounces around alot...it can get incredibly packed and almost deafening - but fantastic bustle all the same).Always a chilled vibe here, staff always friendly and ready to chat recommendations - which is needed! As the wonderfully extensive menu frequently changes. They do seasonal things too like gin month in the summer.I also enjoy that they offer alcohol free stout and pale ale (cans) - which actually tastes palatable (a nice change from soft drinks!).They accept card payment too, no problem. If you have been meaning to visit, but keep forgetting - make a NY promise to! ? ...you'll keep coming back!
