If I could give less than 1 star I would. Please do not buy fish from here. Spent over £20 and this is the quality of fish they serve. Had an extremely pungent smell. It really did smell like canned sardine. Must be expired. This fish was supposed to be large that was shared between 4 people. Tiny fish for a large. I wonder what a small is. More batter than fish. Hard exterior and the texture of the fish itself is awful. But what I can’t understand… does this place not debone their fish? What is this travesty?! Will never buy fish from here again. And if you love yourself, you wouldn’t either. Wouldn’t feed this to my dogs. That’s saying something. It’s put me off fish for life… or for a few months.

Ordered large donna and small chips which came to £11.50, decent amount of food..... So reasonably priced. The Donner meat is crispy and hard in places also chewy. This is due to the fact it's cut then stuck on the fryer. No need for this! ?Chips are standard chippy chips which are good.Service quite slow. Would I go back for say fish? Not so sure after reading other reviews.

Never will I order from here again. Food is dire. Chicken burger is one flattened bun and a dry flattened nugget. No mayo. No salad. Inedible. Now in the bin.

Horrible. Ordered cod bites, received overly battered fish tails with no cod in whatsoever.
Just spent £26 on fish and chips 3 medium cod no taste dry fish not light and fluffy looks like left over’s from yesterday batter hard and looked double dipped also hard never had this before , my mother just come out of hospital and this was a treat for her after eating hospital food but in the end no different ☹️

Not sure what’s happened to this place, they used to do a decent fish and chips without fail, always busy.I ended up with dried out fish, and just ok chips, and at a high cost. Won’t be back.

Rip off. Everyone who is complaining about fish being dried out is wrong.They're not even selling the usual cod, but some different whitefish. You can usually tell by the flesh of the fish. Usually it's a chunky flaky fish, like haddock. But this one is cheap.

Looks like this place has been taken over by someone else and unfortunately the food quality has taken a big nose dive. Try somewhere else for better tasting food.
