I ate here yesterday for lunch .. and let me just tell you. I am obsessed. I come here every single time im hungry (i rarely go to another restaurant because of how good the food is in blackheath pizza express). I gave compliments to the chef (Thomas) whose hands are a work of art ,and the manager (vicky) who welcomed me with such warmth. As well as Ivona the waitress who was also so kind and actually conversed with me with patience rather. I just love love love this place ever so much and will continue to make an appearance!Thank you again!!My go to order is always: pollo forza or the buddha salad bowl (however anything that is cooked by the chef is amazing)Kid-friendliness: They are very kind and understanding whenever i cannot have cheese(allergy)

We celebrated our daughters 16th birthday. The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. Ivy our host was brilliant and really attentative. The manager was friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend!

Zsiga was incredibly helpful and responsive, with 3 children and two adults to sever he was very attentive and also kept the children amused. Service was great and super friendly.

Absolutely Amazing experience today with our reception class. Woodhill School had a fabulous pizza making experience. The staff were so accommodating and kind. The ethos of the day was to "have fun" and our reception children and parents certainly did just that!! The whole staff are a credit to pizza express. Thank you so much for our fun School trip ?

My daughters and I dine there regularly and we always have a lovely time. The menu is familiar and tasty, the crayons and activity menu for the children keep them occupied and entertained while the service is always very friendly. All the waiting staff that we have encountered have been excellent with the kids. We are regularly served by Alexandra who always welcomes us with a warm smile.

We had the most brilliant experience at Pizza Express Blackheath this evening, served without booking, on a Friday night by the lovely and attentive Kevin (aka Arthur). The manager was also absolutely lovely. They were incredibly accommodating, especially to my partner, who has coeliacs disease!I felt compelled to leave this review as we were sat next to two very grumpy men, who were happily charging their phone on the Pizza express plugs, complaining about their food costing too much for "what it was" whilst also asking to take it away for later... something didn't smell right. But the food certainly smelt wonderful.We love Kevin!

We had a pizza party at Pizza Express Blackheath this weekend. And it was brilliant! 10 very happy little boys and girls - April did a great job guiding them through making their own pizzas and keeping them entertained:))) pizzas themselves were delicious and the service was fab too - nothing was too much trouble! I had one of the worst experiences in my life here.I was treated by staff as if I was vermin, the staff treated my friend and I differently due to how we were dressed and our age.I brought a coupon with me, in the small print it said that it was strictly for use in the Blackheath branch, however, when I presented the coupon to the waitress she scolded me for bringing the coupon into her restaurant.The saving grace of this awful establishment was the lovely Brummie boy, he made our meals somewhat enjoyable.For anyone that enjoys eating authentic Italian pizza, I strongly suggest you get on the next plane to Naples, as this is something that you can’t find in London.
