Terrible service yesterday. We used deliveroo to place our order, however, we were told that The Saffron Club used their own drivers. After an hour waiting, we called the restaurant to find out where our order was only to be told that the driver had brought it back to the restaurant. Apparently he had tried to call us when he was outside but had the incorrect number. The driver did not ring the buzzer at all and were given no explanation why. The restaurant blamed deliveroo for providing the incorrect details on the access code, which may well have been their fault, but the restaurant offered nothing to resolve the issue. Instead they said we'd have a further wait for our meal, despite explaing that we had hungry children waiting for their dinner. Our order was over £70, which arrived cold after a total wait of almost 2 hours and a lot of food went to waste. The customer service was absolutely disgraceful. The food itself was average, and was made worse by it being cold. A manager should have offered some money off or something as some kind of resolution, but no, we got nothing. I will never spend my money here again and will not recommend this place to anyone.

Portion sizes have become smaller. But service was good. The drinks menu could be better, it is missing a favourable indian drink. In terms of the portions, if im paying £9 for samosa's. It better be atleast a minimum of 4 small one whereas I only got two. And if two is all you are providing, they better be big. Also the provisions of chutneys should be provided with the starters. In terms of drinks, a lassi (mango / salty) would be great and boost the authentic dining experience for an indian restaurant. Also I'm not a vegan, but some added vegan dishes would be ideal.

The restaurant itself is a little bit tired but the food itself way overcompensates for that. The staff are always super friendly and made a special dish for our youngest who didn't want anything spicy. The food is delicious, not too expensive with a great choice of drinks. Definitely recommend if you want tasty fresh Nepalese food.

Lovely food, beautiful and spicy. Really great service too! I can't believe that I haven't been to this place before. I even brought back a takeout for my daughter. The food was so lovely, that I have decided to take my daughter next time. Great mixture of meat and vegian options too.Vegetarian options: Very good

Great tasting food albeit slightly pricey. Worth it once in a while or for special occasions. Chefs are more than accommodating to alter menu to suit the diners need and vegetarian options are readily available.

2nd time we have eaten at this amazing restaurant. It is by far the best Indian food we have tasted in a restaurant. Great service. Ask for the waiters recommendations and you won't be disappointed with what is served. Excellent meal again.

One of the Best Indian and Fused with Nepalese Restaurant to go to in Blackheath. A large selections of curry dishes to pick from. Although it is slightly pricey especially the drinks. Friendly Staff and great service ? Always come here for a late dinner after a few pints from the Crown ?.

Being a little generous-a more honest review would be 3.5. It's a mix of different countries/cuisines which usually mean it's a mess but they do have a few gems here. Tried the Makhani chicken with butter garlic naan and requested to make it spicy - which worked great! So thank you to the staff and chef. Would be visiting again

I don't say this lightly, but this is the best curry I've had in London. We have ordered 3 times now and can highly recommend the following:#3 samunder ki salmon#26 chauki vegetable#27 chicken chilli dry fry#38 hariyali#56 achari aubergineAnd some bhutuwa lamb which isn't on our menu but was on deliveroo.Don't hesitate!

Beautiful food, I had a prawn vindaloo which had loads of flavour and the right amount of heat. The staff were brilliant and I couldn't fault it. Thanks for a good evening

Had been recommended Saffron and as seafood lovers booked for our anniversary. The Nepalese menu offers many dishes you don’t get elsewhere especially fish and the tastes are delicious. A small restaurant with very attentive staff, tasty and different and will definitely be returning

Found this restaurant on foot looking for a takeaway, people were very friendly. Served a pint whilst waiting for food. The food was absolutely top notch fresh garlic, very tender flavourful lamb. Lamb samosas for starters packed with meat. Lamb sag paneer dansak with garlic rice, garlic pash coriander naan. Well done guys, very happy customers
