A wonderfully delightful Jamaican restaurant ,one of the better ones, my first ever experience here(18 months ago )was not a good one, so I haven't been here for a while , this time almost everything was right , only the time from being seated to actually having my order taken (20 minutes) cast the slightest of Shadows on a beautiful meal and evening with my sister and niece (thank you for my up-and-coming birthday dinner) jerk belly pork rice and Guinness mac and cheese. Once the service head started it was wonderful. Will definitely be coming backParking: As I know the area better to get there in the evening when the parking restrictions are finished

We celebrated my dad's 71st birthday. The food was very tasty i sampled several dishes along with my own, yummy! The service was exquisite, they were very patient and serenaded my dad with a happy birthday song accompanied by the drums. Definitely will return again.Vegetarian options: My dad is vegetarian they have options on the menu, the fish was so soft and fluffy and very tasty.Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: We had a guest in a wheelchair, the space they provided was very comfortable and toilet are on the same floor.

Visited Yah-So Caribbean on 11th August for a birthday celebration & unfortunately my experience wasn't that great. First of all the table was book for 17 people and not once was we notified that you didn't have space to seat the entire booking together so the booking had to be seated over two sessions. I order a cocktail that was unavailable so had pick a alternative. As we had picked our dishes before hand the starters came out at a good speed, the same can not said the mains. There was people with this booking that had finished eating their main while some hadn't even received theres, in fact we had to go and find a waitress and ask what the hold up was.The desserts eventually arrived which was shocking, the ratio of custard to Crumble was an absolute joke.

Oh my gosh. I live in Kent and was in London, visiting friends. I discovered this place. The whole experience was amazing. Staff really friendly and although busy, we're really attentive. The food was incredible, I had the prawn starter which was incredable, you'll definitely be licking your fingers with this one. The flavour combinations, oh my gosh, with a hint of spicy heat. I loved every mouthful. I then had curry goat, rice and peas. The goat was off the bone and melt in the mouth tender. Again the flavours and spicy heat was spot on. Generous portions and delicious. Thank you for the amazing experience. Respect, peace and love to you all @Yah-So Caribbean. 1❤️ I will definitely be back. I highly recommend you visiting. Steve

Food is good unless you're a veggie. Cocktails are nice. Service is pretty terrible. The "garden" is also just a terrace by a roundabout

I’m from the states and this is one of the BEST AUTHENTIC Jamaican restaurants that I’ve been too. The food was on point!!! The beverages are POWERFUL!! Hats off to the chef and the bartender. The only drawback is that you have to make reservations or a booking. It took a while for the waiters to take our order. Even with this, I will be back…

I have discovered a gem! It was definitely worth the journey travelling from North London to this restaurant. It's very difficult to find authentic Caribbean restaurants in London, and I'm so happy we gave Yah So a try. We were greeted by a very friendly lady where she showed us to our table, we were 30 minutes late due to traffic and she was extremely accommodating! Every single thing we ordered was delicious, with the right amount of flavour, spice, and heat - which can be hit and miss with most Caribbean restaurants in the UK! All orders arrived in good time, considering how busy they were, allowing us to have an enjoyable time. We enjoyed every dish and had enough to takeaway. The cocktails were also very nice and strong - go easy! The ambiance was very vibrant and they played a range of RnB and Reggae. What we ordered:2x Jerk chicken wings (highly recommend)Prawns (highly recommend)Callaloo spring rolls (highly recommend)Oxtail (highly recommend)Curry goat (highly recommend)Jerk chicken (highly recommend)Rice & peas (highly recommend)White riceThey even gave us complimentary rum cake since it was my mum's birthday. We will be back! :)Parking: Many parking spaces available on surrounding roads

Service was abysmal so so bad. We arrived when the restaurant was pretty empty yet the service was still so slow. As the weather was nice we decided to sit outside although the table was dirty so i asked the waitress if she could clean the table when she came to take our food and drinks order. She went off and did something else and the table did not get cleaned. My coca cola took 30 mins to arrive and I asked our same waiter to come and clean the table she said she was so sorry that she forgot and went off again and never came back. I had to ask someone else to come and clean the table and she came to do it straight away. Food took over an hour to come and it was very nice but not worth the wait at all. I would go back if they fixed their service. Overall a sad experience as this has been somewhere i’ve been wanting to try for a long time and I was very disappointed.

Lovely Restaurant with good atmosphere. It was busy but service was good. Their punches were on point. Good portion sizes and I was stuff after my main meal and couldn't go for dessert.

The best JAMAICAN food you will find in London apart from my granny’s. This ain’t no “fake fusion” rubbish. Atmosphere feels real, genuine, and authentic. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Service can be a little slow but the food is so good you end up forgetting about it!!!

I've been here twice now and I have not one regret. My last visit was my favorite;food was exquisite and thr service was the icing on the cake. My server's name was Paris, very charming young lady.

I attended the birthday celebration of a family member here. The reasons for my star rating are.The food was delectable, the jerk belly pork was cooked to perfection - 5 stars hands down. The staff were quite nice too.But then the lyrical content of most of the music was deplorable, despicable and down right degrading to women so I deducted 2 stars. This is not my Jamaican experience. Why not play Beresford or Bob or Buju or Dennis or Freddy or even Shaggy or Gregory or Mighty Diamonds - the list goes on.Also I did not receive the mac and cheese or side salad that I ordered so I deducted a further 1 star. Also my side arrived before the main and was cold by the time I ate it.I advise that a table numbers system be put in place so that waiting staff will know exactly who ordered what and not have to go from table to table to ask.I do love to support black owed businesses and I hated having to give a bad review but I had no choice. This could have been a glowing 5 stars going by the food alone. It could also have been a 1 star rating for reasons stated above but in the end I gave a generous 2 stars.

Meal was really delicious. Presentation could not be faulted. Atmosphere and social setting was great. Even the cocktails were on point. Shame that the service let them down. I was not informed that the area were I was sat was included in a large booking for later that evening. I ate leisurely ( I am by nature a slow eater) starters and main main course. With an adfirional cocktail. When I requested the dessert menu I was told that I am unable to have a dessert as the area is required and there is insufficient time. Totally Gobsmacked! What happened to communication, why was I not informed earlier, I could have ordered earlier. Why was I not offered alternative seating ( just 2 of us), perhaps even on the outside terrace it was a balmy evening. Needless to say service required improvement. I was highly disappointed. The suggestion of ordering a dessert to takeaway, just added insult to injury. That being said, I will return as I do enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere, background music is generally pleasing.

We was in the area so we decided to go in, we dis not have a reservation so they sat us outside. The deco is old fashioned and the staff looked unprofessional, on their mobile phone, walking off down the road.We ordered plantain, chunky fries, ribs, festival, mac and cheese, jerk chicken and rice and peas and a few other bits and drinks.Getting all excited for our food, after about 10 minutes the waitress comes back to say their to busy to get our food because we never made a reservation.I've been to classy fine dining restaurants to pub lunches and have never heard of such nonsense. We said we would wait and she point blank said there busy, when the restaurant was not full. This was an absolute JOKE.THE drinks didn't even arrive and there was no one at the bar.
