The food is really good and very filling. The aesthetics make for great pictures. The cafe is quite small and busy and there are rumours of people being rushed out after eating but I did not have that experience. The staff are nice and friendly and the food is not very expensive.

Great variety of brunch dishes. The food tastes very fresh and I loved that the plate is full of lots of different items, giving you a wide variety. You can even get one with sweet fruity waffles within your main plate (I had mine like a dessert once I finished the rest of the plate). It does get very cosy and squashy but I think that is the idea behind this place. Also the place is very busy so you have to queue up.

We're never disappointed here, food is always gorgeous to look at and delicious to eat. We're regular here and enjoy all kind of brunches and breakfast. The staff is so welcoming and they are great with kids. Keep it up cafe east

Nice small cozy cafe. Food was very good, really enjoyed my pancakes with the fruits, no faults for me. Would recommended also have done to family and friends. However it is really really busy and popular so i would suggest arriving early if not you could be waiting, but that shouldn't put you off because it is worth the wait.

We waited in the cold for about 30 mins before being seated. There is no waiting area. The cafe itself is extremely compact and claustrophobic. There is no space to put your coat or bag down. I had to eat with my coat and bag on my lap. The food appeared well presented. We hoped the food would make up for the odds, however the food was satisfactory. Do not order the omelette, it had not taste. An inconvenient cash only policy. As soon as we paid, we were asked to leave. We told them that we were waiting for our sister who was in the restroom and would only be a few minutes as disabled mother couldn’t stand to which they still maintained that we needed us to wait outside. Poor customer service. The owners are more concerned about the money rather than the customers needs forgetting that customers bring them the money. This was shame.

This was a Christmas gift from my friend who had been to Cafe East for her birthday and had a great time. I live out side London and was taken to Cafe East in Roman Road for the first time. I can only describe it as one of the best eating experiences I have ever had in my life. Everything was excellent I could not fault anything the menue ,food /presentation, venue, music, and the staff 100% . I will definitely be returning with my friends and family so that they can also enjoy the experience.🙂🙂
