I popped into Morleys and was surprised to see their cafe was a chain. It would have been nice to have something abit more department store like. But ok.

Met my brother-in-law for coffee and a sweet treat. To our detriment, however, they had little in the form of sweet treats when we arrived, which was at 11:00am. A major disappointment, but I got the chocolate and hazelnut chouxnut, whereas he got the cheesecake. Both of which are delightful.The drinks, though, were perfectly made. I got my go-to americano, and they got an iced latte. Atmosphere wasn't too busy whatsoever - an island of Solace in the bustling sea that is Brixton - but the staff seemed a little bored to the point of daydreaming.Wheelchair accessibility: The store is within a department store - Morleys of Brixton - which has a functional elevator, so I can't see why anybody with mobility issues to not be able to come here.

Have been coming to this Nero on and off for nearly a decade and have recently came back to do some work. This morning I was greeted by the lady with the hair in a bun and she delivered very personable customer service with a smile and made the most amazing coffee, offering the selection and sold me on the lovely smooth blend. Always a fan of the classical/jazz music in the background.

Very nice. Lovely fresh cakes. And the best coffee. I had a Latte and carrot cake.Very tidy and clean too.
I think the staff are very friendly and helpful.
