Great beers, 2/3 of the meals ordered was a pass.

Great local pub in Brixton was bussing on Friday night. Awesome selection of craft beers on tap and heaps of pub favourites on the menu. I had the chicken schnitzel which was excellent, and Stacey has the nachos which she has claimed as the best pub nachos she’s ever had. Get around it!

Excellent beer selection and great roasts - a good amount of foodso that you are full but not leaving half the roast like some places. Some people in our group also found room for the cookie dough and waffle desserts and reported them good too. No photos because we got stuck straight in! We had table service that was super friendly and responsive. Nice outdoor area on the path to the park but off the road.

Very nice pub. Very wide selection of food to choose from on the menu. I opted for the Roast Turkey with all the trimmings but there were so many other options I could have gone for, so I will definitely be back again. The service was very good, as were the friendly & helpful staff.

“OUR KITCHEN IS CLOSED “ was the reply to the request to order some food 6:20 pm Sunday 30 July. “We’ve run out of food”. Had I been spoken to more politely I would not be writing this. But it topped off a series of eventsBeing non-drinkers but wanting to support our local we made sure to arrive in time to order food. There was no indication that the kitchen had closed. Every table had at least two food menus on them as well as empty glasses, except for one. The mostly empty pub was a tip with a few patrons that were still drinking were sitting amongst the detritus of Sunday lunch. Although the table we sat at was sans glassware it was till sodden with beer. I had thought to ask the woman behind the bar to wipe it down for me but she was busy composing a text message to someone and her fellow barman was in a deep flirtation with a customer so I grabbed the spray bottle and kitchen roll to clean it myself.Returning to the cleaning items to their place I then proceeded to wait for the staff to finish their personal lives to ask if I was waiting for something. Which is when I was greeted with the blunt service.Kitchen hours are advertised until 7 pm and even though you may have run out of Sunday Roasts your menu includes sausages, hot dogs and chips all of which can be stocked sufficiently that you will not “run out”. But even if you do you should have your staff remove the menus from the tables to softly indicate that food might not be on offer. Moreover an apology should be forthcoming if you have closed before advertised hours not acting like I had offended their mother for asking to order from the menu in my hand that I had found at my table that I had cleaned myself because the staff were too busy texting friends and trying to find a date for later while the patrons were being left sitting amongst empty but dirty tables.I can only guess the staff have been left without management and the chef just wanted an early night with out the bother of meeting the needs of customers who wanted to eat. Looks like a decent place, AI only ripped here for a drink but it was quite busy for a Sunday, most people had come to eat

Huge selection of beer, great food, friendly and attentive staff. Special mention of Justine!! Always welcoming. The quiz on Tuesday nights is amazing too! Always a good vibe and a wide selection of prizes. The quizmaster is an absolute legend!!!Highly recommend a visit to this pub! The food, the atmosphere and the beer is top notch!!!Frequently updated menu means there's normally something new to try!

Lovely pub! Great outdoor seating tucked away from the bustle, indoor decor is cozy. Sunday roasts are great, staff are really friendly and attentive! Especially for dog owners :) Highly recommend!

Service was absolutely faultless and the food was also fantastic. I didn’t get the name of the lovely manager or the wonderful bar staff but thanks from us all.

Disappointing food experience - Caesar salad was underwhelming; if I hadn’t ordered the chicken as an extra it would have been unacceptable as tiny amounts of anchovies, Parmesan and dressing. My friend’s vegan burger was just about ok but onion rings were soggy. Staff were efficient and friendly and wonderful that dogs are so welcome.

We came here for Sunday roast, and not only was it one of the best Sunday roasts we’ve had, but very good prices and service/staff were amazing.

Spent nearly £100 in under 2 hours and was treated like animals from the first bartender who can't speak to the woman who was rude and told us to get out while waving her hand in our faces because they had a reservation on that table(it was the only table without a reservation).\\n\\nProps to the guy after who may have been the shift leader, who was nice, understanding and polite.\\nFood was OK.\\nWon't be coming here again.

Went for a Sunday Roast, our booking was seamless. Huge thank you to Justine who emailed us with advice and tips when ordering. Good price, great food and the pub atmosphere is perfect. The staff were really nice and accommodating!
